Episode Summary
Nie Jiuluo wakes up from a coma but has completely forgotten who Yan Tuo is. Yan Tuo tries to win her back by recreating their past, while their friends settle into happy, normal lives. He eventually takes her to familiar locations, hoping to trigger her memories.

The Long Goodbye
Nie Jiuluo wakes up, but she isn't really awake. She is standing outside the orphanage. It looks exactly like it used to. Every brick and blade of grass is familiar. It feels like a highlight reel of her life. She sees Jiang Baichuan. She sees Lu Zong. All the Nanshan hunters are there too. They look happy. They are laughing and joking like old times. It feels warm.
But nobody looks at her. She is a ghost in her own memory. She realizes this might be her brain’s way of saying goodbye. Then the scene shifts. She sees her parents. Her mom is busy in the kitchen.
