Episode Summary
Li Jing returns home after her disappearance, forcing Wang Chunsheng to appreciate her more. Tong Fei faces a career crisis when an incriminating photo leads to an investigation at the bank. Li Lianbao and Dong Qian clash over a creepy client, while Ma Weiguo tries to protect the business from Kevin and keep his fake Harvard life from being exposed by Wang Chunsheng.

The Wives Strike Back
Li Jing is playing 4D chess right now. She calls Ma Weiguo to celebrate. His plan worked perfectly. Her husband, Wang Chunsheng, is finally realizing the truth. He can’t function without her. The house is a mess. The shop is a mess. He is miserable.
Li Jing doesn't rush home, though. She hangs out with Jin Tong for coffee instead. She is enjoying her freedom.
Wang Chunsheng is losing his mind. He wants her back immediately. Xia Tian shows up at the worst possible time. She wants to discuss a partnership with the roast duck restaurant. Wang has zero patience for this. He sees Ma Weiguo walking by. He literally dumps Xia Tian onto Ma Weiguo. He forces them to talk business so he can go hunt for his wife.
Tong Fei Gets Backstabbed
Poor Tong Fei. The guy thinks he is getting a promotion. The HR manager, Zhou, comes down from the head office. Tong Fei is excited.
That excitement dies fast. Zhou pulls out a photo. It shows Jin Tong and President Qiu together. Someone sent an anonymous tip. They claim Tong Fei used this connection to get clients illegally.
Tong Fei tries to explain. It doesn't matter. The photo is real. The context looks bad. His boss, President Liu, is useless here. He doesn't defend Tong Fei at all. In fact, Liu throws all the blame on him during a private chat with HR. Tong Fei is on his own.
The Return of the Queen
Wang Chunsheng fails to find Li Jing. She ghosted him completely. He runs back to Ma Weiguo to complain. Ma Weiguo is actually surprised. He told Li Jing to disappear for two days. She stayed away longer. She went rogue. Ma Weiguo tells Wang to stop taking her for granted.
Ma Weiguo figures it out. He calls Jin Tong. She definitely helped hide Li Jing.
Wang goes home defeated. But surprise, Li Jing is there. She is cooking dinner. She isn't screaming. She isn't crying. She is calm. Wang tries to apologize. She brushes it off. They sit down for a nice family meal. It’s almost too normal.
Later that night, the real talk happens. Wang admits he messed up. He bought her an expensive ring. Li Jing thinks it's a waste of money, but she accepts the gesture. She realizes something too. She acted like a maid for years. That stops now. She plans to dress up and live for herself.
Jealousy at the Dinner Table
Dong Qian is trying to close a deal. She has dinner with President Luo. Li Lianbao doesn't trust this guy. He tags along.
He was right. Luo gets handsy. He tries to touch Dong Qian. She tries to keep her distance politely. She needs this deal. Li Lianbao loses his cool. He wants to punch Luo. Dong Qian stops him.
They fight afterwards. Li Lianbao can't stand seeing her harassed. Dong Qian is annoyed. She thinks she can handle herself. She doesn't want him messing up her work.
Despite the drama, Dong Qian officially joins the "four brothers" partnership. They are running the roast duck shop together now. But things are awkward. Li Lianbao gives her the cold shoulder. He is still stewing about the dinner.
Ma Weiguo’s Double Life
Ma Weiguo is juggling a lot. He meets with Kevin. Kevin is still trying to steal Li Lianbao’s shares. Ma Weiguo warns him to back off. Kevin is stubborn.
So, Ma Weiguo calls Old Zhang. He agrees to release some equity. In exchange, he wants dirt on Kevin. He learns Kevin has heavy investments in Southeast Asian agriculture. That’s a useful card to play later.
Jin Tong meets Ma Weiguo again. Her talk with Li Jing changed her perspective. She decides to back off. She won't force her feelings on him anymore.
But Ma Weiguo has a bigger problem. Wang Chunsheng won't let the Harvard thing go. He asks about the professor. He is even getting a visa. He wants to fly there with Ma Weiguo to check it out. Ma Weiguo’s lie is about to explode.
Finally, young Wang Fei corners Ma Weiguo. He wants advice on love. He asks how to make a girl like him. Ma Weiguo really can't catch a break today.
