Episode Summary
Feng Suige wakes up with amnesia, only remembering Fu Yixiao as his enemy. While the Empress Dowager schemes to use Xia Jingshi for a military campaign, Fu Yixiao refuses to give up on Feng Suige. She confronts him alone and walks directly into his sword to prove her feelings, forcing him to hesitate.

Feng Suige's Memory is Completely Fried
He Only Remembers Hating Fu Yixiao
The worst possible thing happened. Feng Suige's memory is shot. He woke up and completely forgot all the good things with Fu Yixiao. All he remembers is that she's his enemy. Ling Feng basically said it's up to fate if he ever gets his memories back.
An Gu used acupuncture to wake him. The moment he saw Fu Yixiao, his eyes turned red with anger. He only trusts what his broken memory tells him. He even pointed to the old arrow wound on his chest. He uses it as proof that she tried to kill him. It's a total mess.
Everyone Tries to Talk Sense into Him
Lu Ke and Ling Feng laid out the entire truth for him. He refused to listen. He is completely stuck in his own head. He wanted to confront Fu Yixiao to "get things straight." But Ling Feng told him not to bother seeing her until he actually remembers something real.
An Gu even advised Fu Yixiao to just leave him alone for a while. She said it could be months. It could even be years. But Fu Yixiao remembered what Feng Suige told her before he lost his memory. She decided she is not going anywhere. She's staying.

Over in the palace, Feng Xiyang finally learned the truth. Xia Jingyan showed her proof that the Murong father and son killed her family. She couldn't handle it. She just broke down crying and threw him out of the room. In a rare moment of not being a total creep, Xia Jingyan told his guard to get her some snacks.
Empress Dowager Jing warned her son, the emperor, to back off from Feng Xiyang. Of course, Xia Jingyan didn't listen. He's the emperor and does what he wants. He was throwing a fit about something else later. But he cheered right up when he saw Feng Xiyang. She's got him wrapped around her finger. She also made a very smart point. She asked him how Xia Jingshi is contacting government ministers when he's supposed to be locked up in Rongyang Hall. That got the emperor thinking.
The Empress Dowager Makes a Power Play
The Empress Dowager is making moves of her own. She doesn't trust her son. She wants to use Xia Jingshi to secure her own power. A minister suggested they should attack Su Sha now. The Feng Camp is without a leader, so it's a good time.
The Empress Dowager met with Xia Jingshi. She offered him command of the army for the attack. Then she showed him an antidote for his poison. But she told him he could get a doctor to treat him afterhe wins the battle. The message was clear. He has to do what she says. Xia Jingshi understood. His own secret plans are getting closer to success.
Fu Yixiao Goes for Broke
A Desperate Plan
Fu Yixiao got a little bit of hope from a story An Gu told her. She believes Feng Suige couldn't have forgotten her completely. There has to be a way to reach him.
So she decided to do something drastic. She went to see Feng Suige alone. Her plan was to be completely open and sincere. She hoped it would spark something deep inside his memory.
Walking into the Blade
Feng Suige's memory is stuck before the Battle of Pingling. He sees her as his greatest enemy. When she walked in, he immediately pointed his sword at her.
Fu Yixiao didn't stop. She walked straight toward the sword.
He hesitated. For a second, he really didn't want to kill her. You could see it on his face. But she kept walking closer. The sword pierced her body. The blade went deeper and deeper as she moved forward. Blood started to spread across her clothes.
