Episode Summary
Feng Suige recovers his memory and reunites with Fu Yixiao. Feng Xiyang allies with Xia Jingyan to expose Xia Jingshi's spy, resulting in the spy's sacrificial death. As a reward, Feng Xiyang asks for the Murongs to be killed. Feng Suige and Fu Yixiao's attempt to leave the Fengyu Alliance is blocked by Elder Lei Lie, creating new conflict. Inside the alliance, Zhou Hao and Zhang Dongshi plot to kill both Feng Suige and Lei Lie.

Feng Suige Finally Remembers
It finally happened. Feng Suige has his memory back.
Fu Yixiao’s persistence paid off. Her actions triggered a flood of memories for him. He remembers her teaching him to shoot a bow. He remembers the promises he made to her. The realization hits him hard. He just breaks down and starts crying. He and Fu Yixiao share a tearful embrace. It was a long time coming.
Feng Xiyang's New Alliance
A Deal for Revenge
While our main couple reunites, Feng Xiyang is going down a much darker path. She blames Xia Jingshi for her current misery. Her family is dead. Her life is ruined. And she holds him responsible.
She decides to get revenge. She goes directly to his rival, Xia Jingyan. She makes him an offer. She can help him find the spy that Xia Jingshi has planted in his inner circle.
The Trap is Sprung
Xia Jingyan is obviously all for this plan. He follows Feng Xiyang's instructions perfectly. He has his guards surround Rongyang Hall, where Xia Jingshi is basically under house arrest. Then they just sit back and watch. They wait to see who tries to pass a message to the man inside.
The spy walks right into their trap. It’s Bai Shouzhuo. He tries to hide a secret message in a food delivery meant for the hall. Feng Xiyang and Xia Jingyan catch him in the act.
A Test of Loyalty
A Brutal Choice
Xia Jingyan has Bai Shouzhuo arrested and tortured. The man doesn't break. So Xia Jingyan decides to put on a little show. He summons Xia Jingshi to Shengfu Hall. He tells Xia Jingshi to kill Bai Shouzhuo himself. He claims this will prove that Bai Shouzhuo isn't his spy. It’s a cruel and twisted test. There is no right answer for Xia Jingshi.
A Loyal Sacrifice
Bai Shouzhuo understands the situation immediately. He is fiercely loyal to Xia Jingshi. He refuses to let his master be forced into such a horrible choice. To protect him, Bai Shouzhuo makes his own move. He runs directly onto the blade of Xia Jingshi's sword, killing himself.
Xia Jingyan doesn't get a confession. But he sees the brief moment of grief on Xia Jingshi’s face. That’s all the confirmation he needs.
The Price of Revenge
Xia Jingyan is thrilled with the outcome. He successfully exposed and eliminated one of his rival's key assets. He asks Feng Xiyang what she wants as a reward for her help. Her request is chillingly simple. She wants him to kill Murong Zhong and his son. Xia Jingshi now understands that in her quest for vengeance, Feng Xiyang has become a powerful and dangerous new enemy.
Trouble in the Fengyu Alliance
You Can Never Leave
Let's get back to Feng Suige and Fu Yixiao. With his memory restored, they plan to leave the Fengyu Alliance. But it's not that simple. Ning Fei reminds them of a very important rule. Anyone treated by the alliance is bound to it for life. You can never leave.
Fu Yixiao believes there has to be a way around this. She guesses that the elder, Lei Lie, is mainly worried they will reveal the alliance's secret location. She thinks an oath of secrecy might be enough. Ling Feng and An Gu also try to persuade Lei Lie. They argue that Feng Suige has a blood feud to finish. He will never be happy staying hidden away.
A New Conflict
The situation with Lei Lie gets worse. His patrol unit captures Lu Ke, one of Feng Suige's men. According to alliance rules, Lu Ke must receive fifty lashes as punishment.
Feng Suige and Fu Yixiao arrive and interrupt the whipping. Lei Lie agrees to let Lu Ke go. But he makes one thing very clear. His business with Feng Suige is far from over.
Plots and Revelations
A Devastating Discovery
We also get an update on Feng Chengyang. His investigator, Shen Wu, has found something. On the day Feng Pingcheng was murdered, the entire Imperial Guard was mysteriously reassigned. Only two powers could authorize such a move. The Murong family... or Empress Dowager Jing. The possibility that the Empress Dowager was involved leaves Feng Chengyang reeling.
A Conspiracy to Kill
Meanwhile, another plot is brewing inside the alliance. Zhou Hao tries and fails to reason with Lei Lie. He then goes to Feng Suige. He heard stories that Feng Suige is the "God of Death of Su Sha," a legendary killer. He asks if Feng Suige is willing to kill to escape the alliance.
Feng Suige gives a firm no. The alliance saved his life. He will not harm any of its members.
This answer ruins Zhou Hao's plan. He was secretly working with Zhang Dongshi. Their goal was to manipulate Feng Suige into killing Lei Lie for them. Since that won't work, they come up with a new plan. They will kill Feng Suige first, then kill Lei Lie, and escape the alliance themselves.
A Faint Memory
The episode closes with Xia Jingyan delivering Feng Xiyang's dowry. A handmaiden from the dowry gives her a hug. The simple touch triggers a memory for Feng Xiyang. It's a strange, blurry flashback connected to Su Sha.
