"Zhao Jiadi Season 2" Episode 6: Recap & Spoilers

Zhao Jiadi never expected that his online friend of seven years, the generous "rich woman," would turn out to be a young and beautiful girl. It was the first time they'd ever met in person, so during dinner, they chatted about all sorts of interesting things from the past seven years. Because they were completely unaware of each other's backgrounds, they got along quite easily.

After dinner, Fanhua Sijin (Li Zhijin) accompanied Zhao Jiadi to Shang Bao's nightclub. Shang Bao greeted them warmly. The atmosphere was originally cheerful, but then the thug who had previously forced Shang Bao to drink showed up again, looking for trouble. Initially, Shang Bao lowered his head to avoid conflict, wanting to settle things peacefully for the sake of his livelihood. However, the thug and his gang became even more aggressive, demanding six bottles of expensive liquor and extorting 600,000 under the guise of "tenfold compensation for fakes."

Seeing the thug pour alcohol on Shang Bao's face, Zhao Jiadi immediately stepped in to defend him and advised him to quit his job. In the midst of the standoff, Fanhua Sijin suddenly stepped forward, calmly confronting the thug and directly pointing out that he was extorting money through fake claims. The thug became enraged and ordered his underlings to attack. Shang Bao, no longer willing to tolerate it, fought back with full force.

In the chaos, Zhao Jiadi constantly protected Fanhua Sijin, who was touched and moved by his actions. Afterwards, Zhao Jiadi and the others ended up at the police station. Because he and Shang Bao had both been involved in the fight, they had to undergo further questioning. Xu Ziqi personally came to the police station to pick up Fanhua Sijin, expressing surprise that she had fallen for a "silly boy." It is revealed that she is actually Li Zhijin, the heiress of the Li Group.

Jiang Tanle returned home late at night, feeling depressed, and told her grandfather that she had broken up with her boyfriend. Jiang Tanle was unhappy with her boyfriend, Lin Peng, for giving up his career as a Go player to pursue finance, and their relationship had become increasingly strained. Despite Jiang Tanle's efforts to convince herself that Lin Peng was the most suitable marriage partner, she felt that marriage should not be without love, and she was disappointed that he had abandoned Go for his career.

Faced with Lin Peng's attempts to salvage the relationship, Jiang Tanle felt exhausted and decided to make a bet with him. They would have a Go match, and if he won, she would wholeheartedly play the role of his wife. If she won, they could only be friends. Lin Peng agreed to her terms.

As a result, Jiang Tanle took the initiative to find Zhao Jiadi and asked him to help her play Go against Lin Peng, telling him to do his best. Under Jiang Tanle's arrangement, Zhao Jiadi and Lin Peng chose to play on an online Go platform. The night before the match, Jiang Tanle thought about her childhood memories of learning Go, recalling everything her teacher had taught her.

The next morning, her grandfather couldn't help but get angry, feeling that Jiang Tanle was treating marriage as a childish game. Lin Peng sat silently in front of the computer, feeling very sad, believing that he was giving his loved one the best life, only to be rejected. He couldn't understand why.

The match attracted a lot of attention. In the beginning, Zhao Jiadi was completely outmatched by Lin Peng, making it clear to everyone who would win. Jiang Tanle had her best friend update her on the progress of the game. Just when everyone thought the outcome was decided, the white pieces suddenly made a move that turned the tables.

Lin Peng suddenly lost his train of thought. Mu Qingyuan urged him to continue, but he got up and looked out the window. Mu Qingyuan then took over the game against Zhao Jiadi, gaining a significant lead. Just when everyone thought the white pieces were going to lose, they made a strategic retreat that cornered the black pieces. It was at this point that everyone realized the player behind the white pieces was the legendary "Guo Shi Wu Shuang" (National Master Without Peer), who had disappeared long ago. Mu Qingyuan asked Zhao Jiadi about his identity, and Zhao Jiadi did not deny that he was the one using that online alias.
