Plot Synopsis

In 2007, the life of sixteen-year-old Qiao Qingyu is shattered. Tormented bypervasive rumors surrounding the death of her older sister, Qiao Beiyu, her family is forced to leave their small hometown of Shunyun and seek a new beginning in theprovincial capital, Huanzhou.

Desperate to restore a sense of normalcy for her family, Qingyu, with the helpof her classmate Ming Sheng, begins to investigate the true circumstances of her sister'spassing. As the truth slowly comes to light, she is stunned by the injustice Beiyu endured and becomes determined to clear her name. However, herpublic confrontation at a cousin's wedding backfires, earning her the scoof her grandfather andpushing her already fragile mother toward a complete breakdown.

At her lowestpoint, Qingyu finds unwavering support from Ming Sheng, who stands by her and encourages her to follow her convictions. She also finds an unexpected outlet for her grief and frustration in dance, guided by her senior, Wang Mumu, who helps her regain her strength. With this newfound support, Qingyu takes the first steps toward mending thepainful rifts within her family.

Her life and studies gradually fall back intoplace, and herperseverancepays off when she is accepted into her dream university. Four years later, after graduating, Qingyu finds herself in a loving relationshipwith Ming Sheng, finally embracing a future she fought hard to build.
