Episode Summary

The web of misunderstanding and suspicion tightens around Shi Diandian and Xu Tian. After Fang Fang reveals Shi Diandian's past insecurities and tendency to emotionally overwhelm her partners, Shi Diandian overhears the conversation. Later, she confronts her past with Xu Tian, promising to manage her emotions better.
The situation escalates when Shi Diandian, having previously mistaken a man named Zhou Tong for Xu Tian, becomes convinced that Xu Tian's trip to Beijing is a pretext to reunite with his former love, the actress Wen Xiaoyao. To prevent their meeting, she abruptly cancels their plans to see Wen Xiaoyao's performance in "Legend of the White Snake," using the excuse of catching an early flight.
Confiding in her mother, Fang Fang, a panicked Shi Diandian explains her fear that Xu Tian is still in love with Wen Xiaoyao. Fang Fang advises her to face the truth head-on, urging her to see what happens when Xu Tian and Wen Xiaoyao are in the same place. Before meeting Xu Tian, Shi Diandian shows her mother a photo of Zhou Tong, revealing the uncanny resemblance between the two men. Stunned, Fang Fang immediately has her assistant search for all ballet companies in Beijing, suspecting a deeper connection. Despite being on the verge of an emotional breakdown, Shi Diandian composes herself just in time to meet Xu Tian.
Meanwhile, a separate drama unfolds around the theater. Qiao Guanghui tries to get Wen Xiaoyao to visit the injured Yang Yun, whom Wen Xiaoyao replaced in the play, but she is busy trying to find Zhou Tong. At the hospital, Yang Yun encourages Wen Xiaoyao over the phone for the next day's performance, promising to attend.
The search for the missing lead actress intensifies as both Zhao Gang and Qiao Guanghui try to locate Wen Xiaoyao to ensure the performance goes on. Fang Fang, also looking for Wen Xiaoyao, overhears them and follows Qiao Guanghui. Their search leads them to Zhou Tong, where Fang Fang comes face-to-face with him, confirming he is a perfect doppelgänger of Xu Tian. The episode ends with Wen Xiaoyao confronting Qiao Mi, demanding to know what she did to Zhou Tong, but Qiao Mi flees without an explanation.
