Meanwhile, Chow Hung discovers one of his subordinates treating his son harshly. Enraged, Chow Hung publicly beats the man and sternly warns him to treat the child well, before giving his son some pocket money.
Ho Ho-fai confronts Chiang Kwun, asking if he knows Anna. Chiang Kwun denies it, but his shifty eyes tell Ho Ho-fai that he is lying. Shortly after, Ho Ho-fai receives a mysterious gift. Believing it's a surprise from his wife, he opens it to find a time bomb, identical in appearance to the one his master, Fok Kai-chuen, had on him. Realizing it's Chow Hung's doing, Ho Ho-fai quickly orders everyone to evacuate. Fortunately, the bomb turns out to be a fake.
Elsewhere, Chow Hung's assassination attempt on Chiang Kwun fails. Aware of the grave danger he is in, Chiang Kwun prepares for the worst, transferring all his assets to Chung Lan-kwun. That evening, he calls Ho Ho-fai, agreeing to cooperate and reveal everything he knows about EMG.
The next day, while on his way to the police station, Chiang Kwun receives a photo showing that Chung Lan-kwun has been kidnapped. He goes alone to an abandoned house as instructed, only to find that the kidnapper is Chow Hung. Surprisingly, Chow Hung lets Chung Lan-kwun go and sits down for a "chat" with Chiang Kwun. Prepared for a confrontation, Chiang Kwun pulls out a gun, but Chow Hung, having anticipated this, is wearing a bulletproof vest. After a fierce struggle, Chiang Kwun is brutally murdered by Chow Hung and his accomplice, Ah Ken.
A grieving Ho Ho-fai and Chan Yiu-yeung pay their respects to their master, Fok Kai-chuen. At the same time, Chung Lan-kwun and her followers arrive to mourn Chiang Kwun, vowing to use all their resources to find Chow Hung and avenge his death. Ho Ho-fai's investigation leads him to Chow Hung's cousin, Cheung Kin-cheung, at a nightclub. As the team rushes to the scene, Chung Lan-kwun also arrives, and Ho Ho-fai, concerned for her safety, urges her to leave.
When the police raid the nightclub, they find it deserted. As they are about to leave, a video of Ho Ho-fai kneeling from a past incident suddenly plays on a TV screen. A colleague, unable to watch, turns it off, unknowingly triggering a bomb. The explosion seriously injures him. Feeling the ever-present danger, Ho Ho-fai tries to persuade his wife, Choi Cheuk-yan, to return to Canada, using the excuse that their son Hin Hin's grandmother misses him. However, she sees through his lie, sensing he is hiding something.
Shiu Tsz-chun discovers that Anna is an expert in disguise. His investigation leads him to a barber shop where the owner, Tony, admits to selling three custom masks to Anna. Learning that Anna also frequents a specific Italian restaurant, Shiu Tsz-chun reviews its surveillance footage. He spots a woman with the face of "Jessica," one of the masks, identifying her by the unique, limited-edition glasses she is wearing.
Guessing that Anna would feel safe dining out while disguised, Ho Ho-fai sends Shiu Tsz-chun to stake out the restaurant. Shiu Tsz-chun approaches a woman he believes is Anna, but it turns out to be a case of mistaken identity. The real Anna, alerted by the commotion, seizes the opportunity to escape. Recognizing the grave threat Chow Hung poses, Ho Ho-fai finally tells his wife, Choi Cheuk-yan, that Chow Hung has returned and urges her to go abroad to stay safe.
In a separate event, Chow Sai-ho, a sports car enthusiast, takes his new car for a joyride. He forces a staff member out of the car, complains about its performance, and then abandons it on Pak Sha Street, calling for staff to retrieve it. When a police unit responds to a report of the car blocking traffic, the officers are hesitant to move the expensive vehicle. However, Chiu Shiu-tong confidently steps in and skillfully moves the car out of the way.
