The episode kicks off with a luxury car brazenly abandoned in the middle of the street, causing a major traffic jam. While others hesitate, the renowned "God of Cars," Chiu Shiu-tong, steps up and skillfully drives the vehicle away. Leung Yuen-ting remarks on the peculiar behavior of the car's owner, Chow Sai-ho, and his wife. This incident is especially strange as it follows a recent security alarm at the Chow residence, where Mrs. Chow had firmly prevented Leung Yuen-ting and other officers from investigating. Ho Ho-fai feels that Chow Sai-ho abandoning his car and the subsequent house alarm are too connected to be a coincidence.

The situation escalates when it's revealed that Chow Hung has kidnapped Chow Sai-ho, demanding a massive ransom from his wife. Terrified that the kidnappers will harm her husband if she goes to the police, Mrs. Chow tries to handle it alone. When Ho Ho-fai visits her home under the pretext of closing an old case, she panics and quickly sends him away. However, Ho Ho-fai learns of the kidnapping and immediately suspects Chow Hung is behind it, even postulating a connection to the mysterious EMG.

Ho Ho-fai's action team intervenes, advising Mrs. Chow to stall the kidnapper during phone calls. The kidnapper is highly cautious, keeping every conversation brief. To apply pressure, Chow Hung sends Mrs. Chow a video of her husband being beaten. She agrees to his demands but is refused when she offers to do a bank transfer due to a lack of physical cash.

A major twist emerges when surveillance footage shows Chow Sai-ho walking away from his luxury car willingly, suggesting he wasn't taken by force. Chan Yiu-yeung voices the theory that Chow Sai-ho and Chow Hung might be working together to scam Mrs. Chow. To investigate this, Ho Ho-fai and Chan Yiu-yeung track down a test driver, Ma Keung, who was recently with Chow Sai-ho, but he has already resigned from the dealership and is uncooperative when they find him.

Following the kidnapper's instructions, Mrs. Chow leaves the ransom money in a white car at an abandoned factory. Ho Ho-fai's team stakes out the vehicle, but when no one shows up, they move in to inspect it. They make a shocking discovery: a bomb is attached to the car, armed by the weight of the ransom money. Removing the cash would trigger an immediate explosion. Ho Ho-fai calls for a bomb disposal expert, only to be informed that the expert has been hijacked by the kidnappers. As he rushes back to the white car, he realizes a fake expert has already made off with the money in a clean getaway.

Chow Hung calls Mrs. Chow again, arrogantly increasing the ransom tenfold as a "punishment" for involving the police. Analyzing the case, Ho Ho-fai concludes that their only way forward is through a man named Chan Yong. He asks Chiu Shiu-tong to use his driving skills to infiltrate the local racing scene and get close to Ma Keung. Chiu sets the plan in motion by visiting a repair shop and impressing Ma Keung with his knowledge, leading to a race challenge.

Desperate, Mrs. Chow instructs her company, Caitong Company, to raise the new ransom, forcing a massive stock sell-off. That night, Chiu Shiu-tong wins his race against Ma Keung. Instead of paying the bet, Ma Keung provides information about Chan Yong. Meanwhile, Ho Ho-fai is impressed with Shiu Tsz-chun's growing maturity and dedication to the case despite pressure from Mrs. Chow. The episode ends as the team tracks down Ah Cheung, an associate of Chow Hung, who has snuck away to use drugs. They find him, but he is too incoherent from his high to answer any questions.
