The episode kicks off with Chiang Kwun making a bold move to free Gordon. He presents a staggering 50 million in cash directly to Ah Ken, proving he’s a man of his word. Seeing the money, Ah Ken finally agrees to release Gordon. Chiang Kwun then arranges for his men to escort Gordon to a transaction point to meet the buyer, and he promptly informs Ho Ho-fai. Upon hearing the news, Chan Yiu-yeung immediately dispatches an elite team to the park.

At the park, Gordon meets with Lam To as planned. Lam To, eager for the contents of the USB drive, transfers 50 million US dollars to Gordon as a sign of good faith. Just as Chan Yiu-yeung arrives on the scene, Gordon calmly reveals the USB drive's ingenious hiding place: inside the bell on a cat's collar. It finally dawns on everyone why their frantic searches came up empty. Gordon explains the drive's contents. The first layer is the "Blue List," implicating key figures like Hong Kong government officials, fund managers, and even high-level executives at the Stock Exchange. The second layer contains a malicious plan to attack Hong Kong's financial market. The third layer, however, remains encrypted. Lam To promises to pay the remaining balance once it's fully decrypted. Suddenly, an assassin ambushes them. In the nick of time, Ho Ho-fai and his team arrive, taking down the attacker and saving Gordon's life.

Shaken by the close call, Gordon decides to cooperate fully with the police, working alongside computer experts to crack the rest of the USB drive. His superior hacking skills are put on full display. Meanwhile, Lam Wai-yin is overwhelmed with guilt watching her father nearly get killed, and he, now understanding the immense danger, urges her to drop the story. Elsewhere, Mr. Lau, the Deputy Director of the Chief Executive's Office, calls an emergency meeting with the police, the Financial Secretary's office, and the Security Bureau. The police brief them on the case and the two decrypted layers, but the purpose of the third layer, ominously dubbed the "financial nuclear bomb," is still a mystery.

The Hong Kong government agrees to let Gordon leave the city on Lam To's private jet. Gordon specifically requests Ho Ho-fai to escort him. Ho Ho-fai, thinking ahead, suggests dispatching Car 3 as well to ensure Gordon's safe departure. The members of the Car 3 unit are thrilled with the high-stakes assignment and begin meticulous preparations. On a personal note, Chiu Siu-tong thoughtfully prepares several days' worth of meals for his wife, placing them in the fridge and setting alarms to remind her to take her medication.

The next day, as the heavily armed police convoy escorts Gordon to the airport, a new threat emerges. Louis has dispatched mercenaries to Hong Kong to help Anna recapture Gordon. The mercenaries attempt to block the police convoy but are swiftly eliminated by the highly-trained SDU members. However, the team soon realizes they've fallen for a diversion. Anna, having tracked Ho Ho-fai's vehicle, intercepts them on the road. Gordon is trapped in a narrow alley. In a critical moment, Ho Ho-fai acts as a decoy to draw enemy fire, allowing Chiu Siu-tong to speed away with Gordon on a motorcycle, securing their escape.

Thanks to the team's coordinated effort, Gordon arrives safely at the airport. Deeply moved by the dedication of everyone who fought to protect Hong Kong, he decides to return the bulk of the money to Lam To, keeping only what he needs for his expenses. The mission is a success, and the entire Car 3 unit receives a commendation, strengthening their camaraderie. During their celebration, everyone acknowledges that the mission's success was largely due to Chiu Siu-tong's brilliant strategic planning.

Ho Ho-fai proudly takes his commendation certificate home to his wife and son, even showing his son a video of the award ceremony. The boy looks at his father with immense admiration, and the family shares a heartwarming moment while rock climbing. The police, fully aware of the grave danger posed by the information on the USB drive, establish a special task force to handle the case, concerned that the mysterious "EMG" group might alter their plans. In a public interview, the highly respected Deputy Financial Secretary, Wong Tung-hoi, expresses his unwavering confidence in the stability of Hong Kong's financial system.
