Episode Summary
In this episode, Beijing University wins a major competition, and Gu Xuejiao cleverly forces Bochi Company to honor their collaboration. However, the victory is short-lived as they are falsely disqualified, a plot orchestrated by Zheng Qin. Lin Zhihua exposes Zheng Qin's corruption, clearing their name but ending the partnership. The stress of the situation leads to a major fight between Lin Zhihua and Xuejiao over his secrets, causing them to break up just as Yi Tianyu returns to the country. Meanwhile, Zhou Shiyun's family goes bankrupt, prompting her to finally stand up to her critical mother and confide in Gu Mingze.

"Summit of Our Youth" Episode 19 Recap
Episode 19 of Summit of Our Youth begins with the final moments of the competition. Beijing University pulls off a win in the last round, and the whole team celebrates their hard-earned victory.
Just before heading on stage, Gu Xuejiao mysteriously tells Lin Zhihua she has a "big gift" for him. When she passes by Zhou Shiyun, she asks if the final system maintenance was a deliberate challenge. Zhou Shiyun is honest and says she wouldn't have held back if their roles were reversed. Xuejiao likes her straightforwardness, and the two rivals congratulate each other.
Zheng Qin from Bochi Company is there to present the awards. When it's her turn, Xuejiao puts on a smile and, right there on stage, politely asks Zheng Qin if this competition is truly the highest-level event in the country. Zheng Qin can't deny it. Seizing the moment, Xuejiao publicly announces that their winning technology will be used for the C1 Project, a collaboration between Jingda and Bochi. Since her own company chose the winning tech, Zheng Qin has no choice but to smile through gritted teeth and agree.
Meanwhile, Gu Mingze worries that Zhou Shiyun is upset about getting second place. He awkwardly tries to comfort her with phrases he frantically searched for online. Seeing how hard he's trying to cheer her up, Zhou Shiyun finally cracks a smile.
With the competition over, Lin Zhihua plans a proper date, but Xuejiao says it's a waste of time; she'd rather use the time before his graduation to learn more from him. Suddenly, a news alert pops up: Beijing University has been disqualified for cheating and stripped of its title. Lin Zhihua immediately guesses Zheng Qin is behind this and drags Xuejiao straight to the Bochi Company headquarters.
Confronted by them, Zheng Qin claims they received a report of cheating and that the organizing committee made the final decision. But then, Dr. Cai from Bochi's main office walks in. He tears into Zheng Qin for damaging the company's reputation and stealing technology from startups. When Zheng Qin tries to defend herself, Dr. Cai pulls out a joint complaint letter. Turns out, Lin Zhihua had his sister, Lin Zhiyue, secretly gather evidence from other teams Zheng Qin had wronged. With no way out, Zheng Qin is forced to accept civil penalties. Dr. Cai says the collaboration with Jingda can continue, but Lin Zhihua shuts it down, stating that Bochi broke their agreement first.
After dealing with the Bochi drama, Lin Zhihua wants to celebrate, but Xuejiao has class. She also tells him that next time something like this happens, she wants him to trust her and tell her what's going on from the start.
The talk about trust gets Lin Zhihua thinking about his biggest secret—that he's a time traveler. He doesn't know how to tell her. As he's struggling with it, Xuejiao runs into a girl who was in the same hospital ward as Lin Zhihua. The girl casually mentions how Lin Zhihua once perfectly predicted the score of a World Cup match. Xuejiao remembers him saying he had a secret before and realizes he's definitely hiding something.
Lin Zhihua finds an angry Xuejiao and tries to explain, saying he was planning to tell her everything once the C1 project launched. But for Xuejiao, it's a matter of respect and trust. She walks away, furious.
Lin Zhihua vents to Gu Mingze, who suggests getting Zhou Shiyun to talk to her. He insists they were just white lies, but Xuejiao believes there should be no secrets in a relationship. The next day at the lab, he writes her an apology letter, but she won't even look at it. Instead, she updates her social media status to: "Boyfriends are unreliable."
Seeing her post, Yi Tianyu immediately books a flight back home. He even buys a bouquet of yellow roses to "celebrate" her breakup. When Lin Zhihua tries to message Xuejiao to apologize, he discovers he's been deleted. Yi Tianyu shows up at the lab with the flowers, and after a tense exchange with Lin Zhihua, he calls Sun Tiantian for help. A few minutes later, he appears with new milk tea for Xuejiao, hoping for a nice surprise. Instead, Xuejiao just feels awkward and tells him to leave.
In a different turn of events, Zhou Shiyun's family business goes bankrupt, and they have to sell their villa. While she's packing, her mother once again blames her for not being good enough. Zhou Shiyun finally finds the courage to stand up to her. She says that no matter what she does, it's never enough for her mom, so from now on, she's going to live for herself and won't be living with her parents anymore. As she walks away from her old home, she sees Gu Mingze, who has been following her, too afraid to ask what's wrong. She finally stops and begins to tell him everything.
