Episode Summary
This episode is a rollercoaster of shifting alliances and romantic jealousy. Yuan Yingxing proposes sealing off his cult with Wang Yue by his side, forcing Wang Yue into a difficult choice. Yao Fu's schemes to separate everyone backfire, leading to Wang Yue and Yang Qing agreeing to marry. The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Yang Qing learns of a deadly trap set for Yuan Yingxing and Wang Yue.

Episode 13 of A Forbidden Marriage begins with Yang Qing trying to make peace. He goes to Yuan Yingxing, hoping they can finally resolve the conflict between their groups, but Yuan Yingxing isn't buying it.
Meanwhile, others are noticing the complicated relationships. Ling Yin can see that Yuan Yingxing has real feelings for Yao Fu, but Ming Yang thinks the cult leader should be with the Saintess. It's a total mess. Wang Yue overhears Yuan Yingxing giving Yang Qing a hard time and complains that he isn't even trying to cooperate. Yuan Yingxing explains his side: the Sheng Yue Cult and the major sects have always been enemies. He's worried that these so-called "righteous" sects won't keep their promises. Wang Yue believes they should at least try to make peace and trusts that Yang Qing will honor his word. Yuan Yingxing is more cynical, arguing that even if Yang Qing is sincere, he can't change the minds of all the other sects by himself.
Finally, Yuan Yingxing makes an offer. After they rescue the disciples, he will completely seal off the Sheng Yue Cult from the outside world to stop the endless fighting. The catch? Wang Yue must return to the cult with him. He trusts Wang Yue so much that they even start debating which of them should be the one to lead the cult.
Wang Yue is left unsure of what to do. Later, at a meal, the plan is spoken of as if it's already decided: they will seal off Yan Mountain, and Wang Yue will go with them. Yang Qing is clearly disappointed, realizing that if Yuan Yingxing seals the mountain, he and Wang Yue might never see each other again. He gets jealous watching how close Wang Yue and Yuan Yingxing are.
Yao Fu also sees how flirty Yuan Yingxing and Wang Yue are, and she can't stand it. She goes to Yang Qing, trying to push him to sabotage their relationship. When Yang Qing doesn't make a move, Yao Fu fakes an injury. Yang Qing rushes to her side to show concern, and Wang Yue sees the whole thing. As expected, Wang Yue gets jealous and pulls Yang Qing away. Seizing the moment, Yang Qing kisses her. Fed up with the drama, Wang Yue declares she wants to marry Yang Qing. He is thrilled but plays it cool to tease her.
Yao Fu then uses this opportunity to get closer to Yuan Yingxing, asking about the legendary Moon Blade. She's stunned when she learns that Yuan Yingxing plans to marry Wang Yue.
That night, Yao Fu tries to drug Yuan Yingxing with incense to steal the Moon Blade, but when she enters his room, she finds him wide awake. He wasn't fooled. Dropping the act, Yao Fu admits she wants the Moon Blade and tries to convince him not to be with Wang Yue.
Later, Yuan Yingxing finds Wang Yue to give her a birthday present, as it's her real birthday. Just as they are sharing a happy moment, Yang Qing walks in. Wang Yue doesn't know how to explain, but Yuan Yingxing calmly points out that today is her true birthday. Worried Yang Qing would be angry, Wang Yue is surprised when he graciously congratulates her and says he wants to give her a gift too.
The next day, however, Yang Qing gives Wang Yue the cold shoulder. She runs up to him and explains that while she has to go back to Yan Mountain with Yuan Yingxing, she will find a way to come back for him. She can't refuse Yuan Yingxing because they grew up together. This only makes Yang Qing angrier, and he starts to walk away. Desperate to prove her feelings, Wang Yue grabs him and kisses him. Just after Yang Qing leaves, he thinks Wang Yue has followed him, but it's actually Lu Xuanxuan and other sect members. They bring terrible news: the major sects have set a massive trap in the valley. Realizing Yuan Yingxing and Wang Yue are in danger, Yang Qing rushes to warn them.
