A Forbidden Marriage: The Sun Blade Secret

Episode 6 of A Forbidden Marriage begins with Ling Yin giving Wang Yue a piece of her mind. She's upset that Wang Yue gave the core "Heart Method" to Yang Qing. She worries that if the Cloud Sect ever decides to attack the Sheng Yue Cult again, her people won't stand a chance.

Meanwhile, Yang Qing, knowing his own poison can be cured, asks Ling Yin to also help the other poisoned disciples from the Cloud Sect. Ling Yin isn't interested in helping them at all. So, Yang Qing turns to Wang Yue for help. Since Wang Yue has a soft spot for Yang Qing, she promises to persuade Ling Yin.

Elsewhere, Lu Xuanxuan's father shows up and scolds her for catching feelings instead of getting rid of Yang Qing as she was supposed to.

Back with the group, Ling Yin is brought in to treat the Cloud Sect disciples. Jiang Yan and Shang Huai are immediately suspicious of her strange medical techniques. When they ask, they find out she's from the Sheng Yue Cult. Shang Huai, believing all cult members are evil, refuses to be treated by her. Just then, Yang Qing and Wang Yue walk in. At Wang Yue's suggestion, Ling Yin avoids further conflict by lying about her identity, saying her real name is Lin Yin.

Yao Fu, who had been trying to find where Ling Yin was being held, arrives to find the place empty. She's disappointed but cheers up when she hears that Yang Qing has found a cure for everyone. She rushes over to see what's happening and comes face-to-face with Ling Yin. Neither of them is happy about this reunion.

Later, Ling Yin privately confronts Wang Yue, asking why she hasn't killed Yao Fu. Wang Yue admits that his skills aren't good enough to defeat her right now. He also reveals the real reason he's sticking with the Cloud Sect: he needs to find the "Sun Blade," the only key that can open the prison holding the rest of the Sheng Yue Cult members. On the flip side, Yao Fu warns Yang Qing to keep his distance from the cult members.

Wang Yue and Ling Yin come up with a plan. He invites Yang Qing for drinks, and Ling Yin spikes the wine with a drug called "Chen Xiang Ruan." They hope that once Yang Qing is drugged, he'll spill the beans about the Sun Blade's location. After drinking the wine, Yang Qing does get loose-lipped and confesses his feelings for Wang Yue. But just as Wang Yue is about to ask about the blade, Yang Qing passes out completely drunk.

The next morning, Shang Huai happens to see Yang Qing leaving Wang Yue's room. To avoid suspicion, Yang Qing claims he was just discussing business with her early in the morning. He quickly changes the subject by asking about Shang Huai's poison, which leads Shang Huai to praise "Lin Yin" for her help.

Fed up with waiting, Ling Yin decides to take matters into her own hands and kill Yao Fu herself. She sneaks into Yao Fu's room and puts poison in her tea and on her bed. However, Yao Fu is sharp and senses the trap. Spotting Jiang Yan nearby, she claims her room is uncomfortable and asks to switch with him. She then uses the excuse of needing his help to stick by his side, effectively keeping an eye on Ling Yin. At the same time, Yao Fu overhears Lu Xuanxuan plotting to harm Yang Qing again and tells her senior, Xiao Bai, asking for his help to protect him.

While being followed by Jiang Yan, he strikes up a conversation with Ling Yin, asking how she knows so much about Sheng Yue Cult poisons. She lies, claiming she used to gather herbs for the cult. Feeling a bit sorry for the naive Jiang Yan, she even gives him some friendly advice.

Later, Yang Qing takes Wang Yue out for a walk. She tries again to ask about the Sun Blade, but it's a top secret that Yang Qing can't just reveal. Seeing that he won't tell her, Wang Yue gets upset. Yang Qing notices her looking at a street vendor making sugar figurines and, wanting to cheer her up, decides to make one for her himself. The sight of the sugar art reminds Wang Yue of her childhood, when she could only look at them but never afford one.

Their sweet moment is interrupted by an old man they once stayed with, who begs them to help find his missing grandson. They anxiously agree and go with him.

Nearby, a man named Ming Yang sees Yang Qing with Wang Yue. Because Wang Yue looks identical to the revered Saintess of his own group, he becomes enraged. He feels that Yang Qing is disrespecting the Saintess and that no one else should be allowed to have her face. He follows them into a bamboo forest and attacks Yang Qing, leaving Wang Yue in a tough spot where she can't easily explain the situation.
