Episode Summary
Wang Mingcheng tests Han Xu's loyalty with fake drugs, but Han Xu sees through it. An ally, Jiu Ge, reveals he was helping Han Xu investigate a police mole before his amnesia and gives him the mole's number. Han Xu escapes the compound, while Jiu Ge meets with a mysterious figure and gets a strange warning from a man who looks just like Han Xu.

The Past Comes Calling
Wang Mingcheng finally lays it all out for Han Xu. He starts by reminding Han Xu that he adopted him. He did this against the advice of pretty much everyone. Wang Mingcheng then had him trained in the drug trade. Han Xu turned out to be a natural student. He got very good, very fast.
Eventually, Han Xu developed a new purification formula on his own. But his downfall came when he fell in love with Xiao Ran. She was a police informant. According to Wang Mingcheng, that relationship is what led to his current mess.
A Test of Loyalty
This isn't just a trip down memory lane. Wang Mingcheng is testing Han Xu. He crushes a glass in his hand to make a point. Then he orders his guy, Jiu Ge, to bring some product. He wants Han Xu to "evaluate" it.
Jiu Ge grabs Han Xu and forces a white powder into his mouth. But Han Xu immediately tastes something is off. This isn't drugs. It's just sugar. He decides to play along with the whole thing.
The Fake Relapse
Han Xu goes back to his room and puts on a performance. He pretends to be relapsing badly. He thrashes around and screams for water. He causes a huge commotion. During his act, he makes one specific demand. He says he needs to see Jiu Ge.
An Unlikely Ally
When the others leave them alone, Han Xu drops the act. He asks Jiu Ge why he helped him. Jiu Ge says he is "405." He clarifies that he was never Han Xu's informant, though. They had a different deal going before Han Xu lost his memory.
The Mole and The Escape
It turns out Jiu Ge was working for Han Xu in another way. He was supposed to identify a mole inside the Police Department. This mole was feeding information to Wang Mingcheng. Jiu Ge never got to report his findings before Han Xu's accident.
Now, Jiu Ge decides to bet on Han Xu again. He gives him a piece of paper. The mole's phone number is written on it. At the same time, we see Wang Mingcheng on a call. He's yelling at someone to get him what he wants. He threatens to blow the whole thing up if they don't comply. It seems pretty obvious he's talking to that mole.
Out of the Frying Pan
By the next morning, Han Xu is gone. He used his skills to find a hidden trail. He successfully escaped the mountain compound.
A Secret Meeting and a Ghost
That night, Jiu Ge goes to a secret meeting. He tells a mysterious person that Han Xu had mistaken someone for his dead wife, Xiao Ran. This person tells Jiu Ge to get out immediately. The situation is too dangerous.
Jiu Ge refuses to leave. He says he's close to finding out how Xiao Ran really died. He even says he has a suspect in mind. Just as he says this, a man steps out of the shadows. The man has one arm and looks eerily like Han Xu. He tells Jiu Ge that if he ends up dead, he will personally pay respects to Xiao Ran's grave for him.
