Episode Summary
Jiu Ge is revealed to be impersonating Wang Yu before he jumps from a building. Han Xu realizes his daughter Nuonuo is in danger because she has a pendant containing a hidden formula. After a tense chase, Nuonuo is rescued and finally reunited with her parents, Han Xu and Chen Yaxin. The real Wang Yu gets rid of a loose end by killing Wang Mingcheng.

The Rooftop Shocker
The episode kicks off right where we left off. Han Xu is on the rooftop, begging the man he thinks is Wang Yu to let Chen Yaxin go. It's tense. Then, "Wang Yu" does something unexpected. He shoves Chen Yaxin into Han Xu's arms. The two of them are a mess, just holding each other and crying.
While they have their moment, "Wang Yu" makes a quick phone call. He just says the mission is complete. But Han Xu starts to notice things. The guy's movements are just a little bit off. He's not acting like the Wang Yu he knows.
The Big Reveal
Just as sirens start wailing in the distance, the truth comes out. The man rips off a mask, and it's not Wang Yu at all. It's Jiu Ge. He gives them a cryptic blessing and then just jumps off the building. It's a wild exit.
The Race to Save Nuonuo
This is where Han Xu's brain kicks into high gear. He remembers a pendant he gave his daughter, Nuonuo. He gets a horrible feeling that the real Wang Yu might have disguised himself as Han Xu. He thinks Wang Yu hid a crucial formula inside that pendant. Now he's terrified that Wang Yu will use Wang Mingcheng to get to his daughter.
The show then cuts to Nuonuo. She's with a policewoman who is supposed to be protecting her. Sure enough, Wang Mingcheng and a bunch of his guys are hunting her down in a shopping mall. The danger is getting very real.
A Family Reunited
Back in a police car, Chen Yaxin fills Han Xu in on some details. She tells him what Wang Yu told her about his past. We learn about his childhood and his obsession with someone named Xiao Ran. She also explains Han Xu's memory problems. After he was badly hurt, he had so much guilt that he developed a memory disorder. His subconscious wanted to take his brother's place and suffer for him. Han Xu feels terrible for having forgotten Chen Yaxin.
Wang Jian, who is also in the car, hands over some files that An Shaocong was working on before he died. Then he gets a frantic call from the policewoman with Nuonuo. They're under attack.
They're hiding in a dark alley when Wang Jian's team screeches onto the scene. They manage to arrest a lot of the thugs. But, of course, Wang Mingcheng slips away during the chaos.
Chen Yaxin has to stop Han Xu from running to his daughter. They have a secret agreement with Nuonuo. The girl has known all along that her dad was an undercover cop. She had to pretend they were strangers for her own safety. Now, finally, they can drop the act. The three of them have a real family hug for the first time.
Loose Ends
The episode doesn't stop there, though. It has one last piece of business to take care of.
Wang Yu Cleans House
We see the real Wang Yu driving. He picks up Wang Mingcheng, who just escaped from the alley. As Wang Mingcheng sits in the car complaining and whining, Wang Yu doesn't say a word. He just pulls out a knife, kills him, and leaves the car behind. Cold and efficient.
