The Trust Is a Mess
Alright, let's talk about this trust. Fang Yangtian and his lawyer, Gao Shen, are trying to figure out their odds in court. They know a big problem exists. If the trust was set up just to dodge debts, a judge can throw the whole thing out.
Fang Xueli is also meeting with his own lawyer. He wants to find any way possible to cancel the trust. The lawyer comes up with a slimy idea. They could fake evidence to make it look like Fang Yangtian isn't mentally stable after his car accident. But Gao Shen is way ahead of them. He already guessed they would try something like this. He cleverly creates a conflict of interest for their lawyers. Now, those lawyers can't even take the case.
A Family Dinner from Hell
Fang Yangtian tries to make peace at home. He brings food to his mom, but she isn't having it. She's dead set on getting the family's money back for her grandchildren.
This leads to a seriously awkward family dinner. The family splits into two camps. Fang Xueli and his brother Fang Xueqin eat together with their side of the family. They're all smiles. Fang Yangtian sits all by himself. He looks completely unfazed, though. He says he won't back down. He's ready to see what his sons will try to pull next.
The Hit-and-Run Investigation
Earlier, Fang Yangtian updated Lin Cheng on his own investigation. He found the guy who caused the hit-and-run, a man named Shi Wei. There's a huge catch, though. Shi Wei is already dead, killed in another accident. Fang Yangtian didn't stop there. He tracked down Shi Wei's ex-wife. She told him she once found a strange man in their house holding a video recorder.
The Lawsuit Begins
The day starts with Lin Cheng trying to have a normal morning making breakfast. Jiang Huanqiu sees her and basically tells her to stop wasting time on chores. She says Lin Cheng needs to focus on fighting the people who are after her. As the new trustee, she has a lot of enemies. Right on cue, Fang Xueli walks in. He serves her with a lawsuit from their grandmother to have her removed from the trust.

A Painful Confrontation
Kwong Shan Tsuen is furious with Gao Shen. She tracks him down and accuses him of using his position for personal revenge. In response, Gao Shen just rolls up his sleeve. He shows her a deep scar on his arm. He explains it's from when he tried to kill himself after she betrayed him years ago. He says waking up in the hospital changed him. He decided the best revenge would be to become more successful than her. Now he has Fang Yangtian's complete trust, and he's not about to waste that opportunity.
A Dangerous Discovery
Kwong Shan Tsuen's parents are trying to get funding for the children's home they run. The person approving the funds is Gao Shen. As he looks through their application, he flips through some photos. One picture stops him cold. It's a man with a little girl. Gao Shen recognizes a tattoo on the man's arm. He's seen it before on members of a child abuse ring. He immediately runs out to find Kwong Shan Tsuen and asks if she knows the man in the photo.

Trouble at the Children's Home
Things get intense at the children's home. A man called Uncle Ping tries to lure a young girl away with ice cream. Luckily, Gao Shen and Kwong Shan Tsuen show up just in time to stop him. The police take Uncle Ping away, but word of the incident gets out. This prompts Fang Yangtian to lecture his sons. He tells them if they put as much effort into their work as they do into this lawsuit, the business wouldn't be failing. Fang Xueli just complains to Jiang Huanqiu. He doesn't get why his father never approves of him and vows to win the lawsuit.
A Calculated Kiss
Later, a woman named Zhi Jun calls Gao Shen for help. She's at a bar, pretending to be a wreck. When Gao Shen arrives, she tells him a sad story about how she caused her father's fatal car accident. After he takes her home, she does something bold. She kisses Gao Shen right in front of Kwong Shan Tsuen. Kwong Shan Tsuen tries to act cool, but you can tell she's fuming. Fang Xueli happens to see the whole thing.
A Bold Move at the Office
Fang Yangtian makes a huge move at a board meeting. He proposes making Lin Cheng the company's first vice-chairman. The other board members, including his sons, are all against it. Kwong Wai Leung steps in and says the decision will have to go to a board vote. Lin Cheng is confused by all this. She later asks Fang Yangtian why he did it, especially since being the trustee is already so much pressure. He just tells her to do what she feels is right.
