Episode Summary
Lin Cheng is pushed out of the Fang family after a forged will leaves her with nothing and a cruel video reveals Fang Yangtian's apparent betrayal. After Gao Shen secures a one-billion-dollar settlement for her, she disappears. The true forgers, Jiang Huanqiu and Kwong Wai Leung, celebrate their victory. The next day, Lin Cheng reappears at a family ceremony with a new, final will that leaves everything to her, which she vows to use for charity, setting up a legal battle with the sons.

Well, that inheritance drama escalated quickly. This episode was all about the fallout from Fang Yangtian's will, and nobody is handling it well.
Suspicions and Smashed Memories
Lin Cheng is in a full-blown panic. She keeps calling Gao Shen, but every call goes to voicemail. She's completely lost and feels like he's the only person who can help her navigate this disaster.
Meanwhile, Fang Xuexian pulls his brothers aside. He's deeply suspicious about the will. He reminds them how their father was willing to take them to court for Lin Cheng's sake. Now, the will cuts her out completely. It just doesn't add up. He thinks Fang Xueqin might have conspired with Jiang Huanqiu to forge the document. Fang Xueli agrees that something is off, but he doesn't believe his brother would do something like that.
Later, Lin Cheng goes to her room and finds Fang Xueqin there. He's holding the music box Fang Yangtian gave her. In a fit of rage, he smashes it on the floor right in front of her. The box was full of good memories, and seeing it in pieces is the last straw for Lin Cheng. She's heartbroken and furious, and she kicks him out immediately.
A Questionable Signature
Fang Xuexian isn't letting his suspicions go. He confronts Jiang Huanqiu directly about the will's authenticity. She stays calm and pulls out a birthday card Fang Yangtian once gave her. She compares the signature on the card to the one on the will, claiming they're a perfect match. Once Fang Xuexian leaves, her confident mask drops, and she looks like she's plotting her next move.
That night, Jiang Huanqiu puts on a show for Old Mrs. Fang. She pretends to be concerned for Lin Cheng, arguing that she deserves something for all her hard work. But she also insists they must honor Fang Yangtian's final wishes. It’s a calculated performance.

Just when things look their bleakest, help finally arrives. But it only makes the battle lines clearer.
Gao Shen Returns
Gao Shen finally gets back to the Fang house. He immediately finds Lin Cheng and gets the full story on the will reading. He sees how devastated she is and convinces her to stop hiding in her room. It's time to face the family.
Lin Cheng Fights Back
Gao Shen walks Lin Cheng out to where the family is gathered. With new resolve, Lin Cheng looks at the will in Lawyer Ying's hand and declares it's a fake. She then lays out, point by point, their previous attempts at forgery, arguing this is just another well-planned scheme.
The family erupts. Some accuse her of making things up, while others start to doubt the will themselves. The scene gets so chaotic that Old Mrs. Fang has to step in. After a moment, she offers Lin Cheng 500 million to just leave the family for good. But Lin Cheng refuses. She says she wants to stay and take care of them in Fang Yangtian's place. The family makes it clear they don't want her, and she's crushed by the rejection.
Seeing this, Gao Shen plays his final card. He reveals that Fang Yangtian gave him one billion with a specific instruction. It was for Lin Cheng, in case the family ever turned on her, so she would be financially secure for the rest of her life.
The Ultimate Betrayal
The money doesn't solve anything. In fact, things get much, much worse for Lin Cheng before they get better.
A Cruel Video and an Exit in the Rain
Lin Cheng is finally forced to leave. As she drags her luggage out of the Fang house, it starts pouring rain. She's completely numb. Her mind is stuck on a video Old Mrs. Fang showed her. In it, Fang Yangtian says he never loved her. He claims he only used her to light a fire under his three sons.
The Real Villains Celebrate
While Lin Cheng walks alone in the rain, Jiang Huanqiu and Kwong Wai Leung are toasting their success. They can't believe the three "stupid sons" fell for the fake will. Jiang Huanqiu is bitter. After all her years of service, Fang Yangtian's real will left her daughter with nothing. She was determined to get what she felt they were owed.
Gao Shen manages to get the family to agree to the one billion payout for Lin Cheng. But when he, Lin Yao, and Lin Daquan go to find her, she's gone. They split up and frantically search for her.
A New Day, A New Will
The next day brings new alliances and a shocking public announcement.
A Family Rebuilds
While out shopping with her daughter Jasmine, Kwong Shan Tsuen bumps into Fang Xueli. He begs her to come back to him. She refuses, saying she's doing it for her daughter's happiness. This is a wake-up call for Fang Xueli. He realizes how much he loves her and their unborn child. He offers to adopt Jasmine to create a complete family.
At the ancestor worship ceremony the next day, Fang Xueli is overjoyed when Kwong Shan Tsuen shows up.
Lin Cheng's Grand Entrance
The ceremony is interrupted when Lin Cheng makes a dramatic entrance, dressed in a bright red outfit. She calmly informs the press that she will be holding a conference tomorrow. She plans to reveal Fang Yangtian's true final will. This new will cancels all previous trusts and documents. It leaves all of his assets directly to her.
When the media asks why his children were left with nothing, Lin Cheng announces her plan. She will use the entire inheritance to establish a charitable foundation.
Fang Xueli and Fang Xueqin rush forward, accusing her of forgery in front of all the cameras. Later, Lawyer Ying tries to mediate, but Lin Cheng is done playing nice. She insists her will is authentic and tells them she's not afraid to prove it in court.
