Episode Summary
Kwong Shan Tsuen and Fang Xue Li devise a plan to plant a bug in Gao Shen's house by faking a domestic dispute. The plan seemingly succeeds, and they overhear that Gao Shen and Lin Cheng are closing in on Lai Zhong Xing. At a family meeting, Lin Cheng is accused of being a spy, but Fang Yang Tian turns the tables by bringing in Lai Zhong Xing, who exposes Dong You Wei as the true villain. Gao Shen reveals he knew about the bug all along. In the aftermath, Fang Yang Tian announces his intention to marry Lin Cheng, causing a rift in the family and a new media storm.

You know, I love a good scheme. But I love it even more when a scheme blows up in someone's face. This episode was all about that. We got fake fights, secret listening devices, and a family meeting that went completely off the rails. Let's get into it.
A Very Messy Plan
The Phony Fight
Kwong Shan Tsuen wakes up her husband, Fang Xue Li, with some serious intel. She overheard that Lin Cheng is friends with Gao Shen. Even worse, she figured out Lin Cheng's dad is Lin Da Quan. He's the guy who retired after a work injury and has a major grudge against Fang Yang Tian. Kwong Shan Tsuen is convinced Lin Cheng is out to destroy the Fang family.
But Fang Xue Li just blames her for the whole mess. He thinks none of this would be happening if she had just broken up with Gao Shen properly. They have a huge, screaming fight. He even hits her. It looks bad.
Planting the Bug
So, what does a bruised and betrayed wife do? She runs straight to her ex, of course. Kwong Shan Tsuen shows up at Gao Shen's place, drunk and crying. She blames him for all her problems. Then things get really weird. She starts taking off her clothes. She tells him to just take his revenge on her body if it means he'll leave the Fang family alone.
Gao Shen, to his credit, is not having it. He tells her to get dressed and drives her home. But here’s the twist. The whole domestic abuse story was a setup. She and Fang Xue Li planned it so she could get into Gao Shen's apartment. Her real mission was to plant a listening device.
And it works. They soon overhear a call between Gao Shen and Lin Cheng. They've found Lai Zhong Xing. They're ready to make their move against Fang Yang Tian. Kwong Shan Tsuen saves the recording. She thinks it's her new insurance policy.
Side-Story Shenanigans
A Bar Fight and a Stolen Car
While all that's going on, Zhi Jun is dealing with some jerk at a bar. He won't leave her alone, so she throws a drink on him. He's about to get violent when Fang Xue Xian shows up and saves the day.
He decides to drive the very drunk Zhi Jun home. He pulls over to buy her some water. She thanks him by jumping into the driver's seat, stealing his car, and scraping another vehicle on her way out. This is definitely going to come back later. And sure enough, the car she hit belongs to Gao Shen's sister. She is not happy and plans to check the security cameras.
The Trap Is Sprung
The Family Ambush
Fang Yang Tian is finally out of the hospital, but the doctor gives him some more bad news about a new illness. He keeps it to himself. When he gets home with Lin Cheng, his sons Fang Xue Li and Fang Xue Qin are waiting. They call a family meeting and kick Lin Cheng out.
Fang Xue Qin publicly accuses Lin Cheng of being a spy for Gao Shen. Dong You Wei, the family's right-hand man, chimes in. He says he saw Lin Cheng asking about Lai Zhong Xing. He claims she engineered the whole crisis to tank the family's stock. It looks like Lin Cheng is completely cornered.
The Uno Reverse Card
Lin Cheng doesn't even defend herself. She doesn't have to. Fang Yang Tian makes one phone call. The door opens and in walk Gao Shen and Lai Zhong Xing.
Lai Zhong Xing spills everything. He confesses that Dong You Wei hired him to frame the Fangs with fake jewelry. Then, when things got hot, Dong You Wei tried to have him killed to shut him up. The truth is out.
Fang Yang Tian fires Dong You Wei on the spot. Then, for the final blow, Gao Shen walks over to Kwong Shan Tsuen. He pulls the listening device out of his pocket and hands it back to her. He knew about her little plan the whole time and just played along. It was a total masterclass in turning the tables.
A Shocking Announcement
The Proposal
With everyone still processing the absolute chaos, Fang Yang Tian makes another announcement. He's going to marry Lin Cheng.
The Fallout
Fang Xue Xian can't handle it and storms out of the house. His two brothers, surprisingly, seem to support their dad's decision. Lin Cheng is left holding a family heirloom ring, probably wondering what just happened. She now has to figure out how to tell her own father she's engaged to the man he despises.
To top it all off, the episode ends with news of the engagement being leaked to the press. The Fang family just can't stay out of the headlines.
