Episode Summary
Tang Jinshan manipulates Mou Lang into betraying his father. Duo Zai decides to surrender but is stopped when Ma Yong confesses he secretly sold the goods. To prevent Duo Zai from talking, Mou Sen fakes Ma Yong's kidnapping and forces Duo Zai to complete a dangerous delivery for Du Ye.

A Family Business Lesson
The episode kicks off with Du Ye giving his granddaughter a reality check. He tells Tang Jinshan that she is nowhere near ready to take over the family business. Her performance just isn't cutting it. She looks him dead in the eye. She promises to make him see her differently.
Right after, we see Mou Lang sneak back to his company. He hopes his contact, Uncle Huang, can get him a meeting with his father. But this was all a setup. I knew something was off. Tang Jinshan actually let him escape. She planted a tracker in his shoe and had her guys grab him again that same night. Cold.
The Promise of a New Life
Ma Yong's Big Score
Mou Sen gets a boat ready for Ma Yong. He promises him a huge payday after this one last job. Ma Yong is ecstatic. He tells Duo Zai they're finally getting out of the country to start fresh. He even breaks the news to his kids. He starts dreaming about them having normal lives with jobs and families. It's a nice thought. But you just know it's not going to be that simple.
Tang Jinshan's Power Play
Tang Jinshan feels that Mou Haidong coddled his son, Mou Lang, way too much. She starts messing with Mou Lang's head. She works to turn him against his own father. Then she makes him an offer. She'll give him a brand new identity. He can disappear and live a quiet life. The price? He has to give her his father's account password. After thinking it over, he agrees to work with her.
A Missed Connection
The Gamer and the Girl
Duo Zai is getting ready to leave for good. He stops by a hair salon and puts two thousand yuan on Zhi An's account. The shop owner calls Zhi An to let her know. This triggers a memory for her. She remembers Duo Zai asking if she needed money. She does some digging and figures it out. Duo Zai is her online gaming buddy, the one called "Assassin."
She messages him in the game to confirm he's really leaving. She wants to stop him. So, she dares him to meet her in person. He hesitates. He tells her that if he sees her, he won't want to go. She's just as direct. She says she doesn't want to miss her chance with him.
The Truth Comes Out
Si Yan Hao and Ma Yong have their bags packed. They're trying to pull Duo Zai out the door with them. But Duo Zai refuses to go. He is completely done with running. He wants to turn himself in. This starts a massive argument between the three of them.
In the heat of the moment, Ma Yong lets the truth slip. He admits he secretly kept the canned goods. He sold them to Mou Sen. He already made a fortune. It's enough money for them to live comfortably for the rest of their lives. Duo Zai is absolutely furious. He turns and walks away.
Mou Sen's Trap
Ma Yong feels bad and decides to stay since Duo Zai won't leave. This sends Mou Sen into a panic. If Duo Zai surrenders, he could bring everyone down with him. Mou Sen decides there's only one way to handle this.
Duo Zai buys a bouquet of flowers. He goes to the spot where he agreed to meet Zhi An. He sees her waiting from a distance. He's about to walk over to her. Then Mou Sen suddenly appears behind him. He shows Duo Zai a photo. It's a picture of Ma Yong tied up, looking like he's been kidnapped.
Duo Zai sees the photo and his face just drops. He has no choice but to abandon the meeting with Zhi An. In the car, Mou Sen gives him a warning. He better do exactly what he's told if he wants Ma Yong to stay safe.
The Final Delivery
Duo Zai is forced onto a boat with Li Haipeng. He's so upset he refuses to eat or drink. Li Haipeng tries to convince him to just accept his fate and take over Ma Yong's role in the operation. He tells Duo Zai that he's involved now. Surrendering is no longer an option.
Then, the coast guard shows up for an inspection. Duo Zai quickly hides in a rear cabin. The guards check some papers and leave. It was a close call.
Elsewhere, Ma Yong is sick with worry over Duo Zai. Si Yan Hao finally asks the question we've all been thinking. He asks if Mou Sen is just using them. Ma Yong is filled with regret. He says he never should have helped Mou Sen stage the fake kidnapping.
Using his impressive diving skills, Duo Zai successfully delivers the cargo to Du Ye. The job is done. At the same time, we see Mai Jiamin safely reunited with her brother, Li Haipeng.
