Episode Summary
Mou Sen reveals the stolen cargo was his, needed to save his family. Liu Libo, captured by Du Ye, leverages Mou Sen's brother and sister to force a deal. The police track and capture Liu Bingqiang after a panicked phone call. The episode ends with Mou Sen arranging a partial hostage exchange with Du Ye, trading 20kg of drugs for Mai Jiamin's freedom.

The Truth About the Canned Meat
A Rude Awakening
So, the episode kicks off right where we left off. Ma Yong scrambles to hide the cans of braised pork he pulled from the fire. He knows Duo Zai is on his way back. But you can't really hide the smell of cooked meat. Duo Zai immediately smells it and gets furious.
Just then, Mou Sen finally wakes up. He looks at one of the cans and calmly states the production date on the bottom. That's when it clicks for everyone. They stole Mou Sen's own cargo. The stuff they thought they were just salvaging was his all along. Ma Yong feels terrible. He tries to smooth things over, reminding Mou Sen that he saved his life. He hopes that earns him a pass.
Mou Sen is honest with them. He explains he needs that cargo. It's the only way he can save his father and his brother. He even offers to give them some money for their trouble.
A Moral Stand
Duo Zai isn't having any of it. He is firmly against drug trafficking. He doesn't want any part of this mess. Without asking for anything in return, he hands two cans of the braised pork back to Mou Sen.
Du Ye Tightens His Grip
Liu Libo's Last Chance
Things are not going well for Liu Libo. Du Ye's men have captured him. He immediately starts talking to save his skin. He swears he can deliver the goods on time. He just needs to find the "cook," who we know is Mou Sen.
Liu Libo also drops a major piece of information. He tells them Mou Lang inherited a huge fortune. He also explains that Mou Sen is Mou Lang's half-brother. Liu Libo is betting that Mou Sen will contact him to save his younger brother. Du Ye thinks about it. He decides to give Liu Libo one more chance to fix his mess.
We then see Mou Lang on a boat with Liu Libo. He's thinking about his childhood. His father always kept him away from the family business. He wanted Mou Lang to live a safe, normal life. All the skills and business secrets went to Mou Sen. Now, Mou Lang is frustrated. Despite his father's protection, he's been dragged right into the middle of this disaster.
A New Hostage
Duo Zai still doesn't trust Ma Yong. He goes to his boat to search for any hidden drugs. Si Yan Hao is there, complaining about how poor they are. He regrets giving all the drugs back to Mou Sen.
At the same time, Li Haipeng gets rescued out at sea. His luck doesn't last long. Liu Libo finds him and makes a threat. He tells Li Haipeng to bring Mou Sen to Du Ye. It's a trade. Mou Sen for Li Haipeng's sister, Mai Jiamin. If he refuses, Liu Libo makes it clear that both Li Haipeng and his sister will die.
The Walls Close In
A Fatal Phone Call
The police are making moves. Liu Bingqiang overhears that his father is in danger. He panics and decides to call him. This is the mistake the police were waiting for. They immediately track the call. In a bit of a twist, the owner of the shop where he makes the call is actually Luo Zhongkui.
The police use the phone's location to find Liu Bingqiang's apartment. They move in to arrest him. During the raid, Liu Bingqiang accidentally falls from an upper floor of the building.
The Deal on the Table
Li Haipeng gets back to the pharmacy. He looks worried. He tells Mou Sen what Liu Libo demanded. He wants Mou Sen to trade himself to get Mai Jiamin back. Mou Sen thinks for a moment. He gives Li Haipeng two cans of the goods to hand over as a start.
When Li Haipeng finds out Ma Yong took the rest of his cargo, he makes him an offer. He'll pay one million to buy back all the goods in Ma Yong's possession. He also promises to help Ma Yong find a boat and escape.
The Exchange Plan
Back at the hospital, Liu Bingqiang survives the fall. With him captured, Zhi An's mission is officially complete. She moves out of Yang Yipeng's house. Yang Yipeng acts like a concerned father. He packs some food for her to take home.
Ma Yong takes Mou Sen to the river. They search around and finally find the rest of the hidden cargo. Mou Sen gets on the phone with Du Ye. He makes a decision. He will deliver 20 kilograms of the goods first. In exchange, they have to release Mai Jiamin. Once they verify the first shipment is good, he will hand over the rest.
