Episode Summary
Mu Yuanfeng sacrifices himself to save Jixing Yuan. Ming Yi is injured protecting Ji Bozai, who finally learns her secret identity after she forges him a powerful sword. Situ Ling is punished by his father but plots to help Ming Yi on her next mission.

The Abyss Collapses
The episode opens with total chaos. Situ Ling finds Ming Yi and tells her to get out of The Abyss. He warns her that the Chasing Water Spirit Continent has a backup plan. A poison miasma is about to flood the entire area.
He was right. A nasty purple gas starts pouring in from all sides. Mu Yuanfeng knows this is the end. He orders everyone with spiritual power to band together and fight off the poison.
Things get worse for our main couple. Ming Yi notices Ji Bozai’s energy is unstable. She doesn't hesitate. She jumps in front of him and takes a fatal blow that was meant for him. At the same time, one of Chao Xuan’s men tries to set off a bomb to kill everyone. For a brief moment, Ji Bozai and Situ Ling actually work together. They take the guy out.
A Father's Sacrifice
The miasma is still spreading. Mu Yuanfeng sees that they are losing. He decides to make the ultimate sacrifice. He uses his own body and spirit to create a massive protective barrier around Jixing Yuan. This barrier is called the Lanruo formation. It will protect the realm from gods, demons, and magic for a hundred years.
The Abyss starts to crumble. Ji Bozai summons his magical creature, Bu Xiu. He orders it to carry him and the injured Ming Yi декора. On the way out, he finds out the real reason she was looking for that medical book. She was trying to save Ming Xian. He's annoyed, but you can tell he's also worried about her. He gets her back to Jixing Yuan safely. They both look up and see the celestial sign that Mu Yuanfeng is gone. It's a heavy moment for both of them.
Fallout and Family Drama
A Grieving Daughter
We cut to Tianji. She's alone in her room, completely broken by her father's death. Yan Xiao comes to see her. He was given a message to deliver. Mu Yuanfeng’s last wish was for Yan Xiao to take care of Tianji and help her through this. Hearing this, Tianji breaks down and hugs Yan Xiao, who just holds her while she cries.
Situ Ling's Punishment
The news of Chao Xuan's death reaches the Chasing Water Spirit Continent. His father, Chao Heng, is furious. He immediately orders his other son, Situ Ling, to be brought home.
The second Situ Ling arrives, he's severely punished. Then he's thrown into a dungeon. Fu Yue hears what happened and rushes to see him. He's covered in wounds. She wants to go plead with Chao Heng for him. But Situ Ling doesn't even seem to notice her. He just keeps asking if Ming Yi is safe. Fu Yue gets so angry and hurt that she lies. She tells him Ming Yi is already dead from the poison. But she can't stand seeing him in pain, so she quickly tells him the truth.
To save him from his injuries, Fu Yue burns her own life force to heal him. Situ Ling understands how much she cares for him. He just can't love her back. Once he's healed, he goes to face his father alone. He tells Chao Heng he wants to develop his own spiritual power. He promises to find the second half of the medical text. Chao Heng has now lost two sons. He pins all his hopes on Situ Ling.
The Truth Comes Out
Ji Bozai's Suspicions
Things have calmed down a bit. Ji Bozai finds the crossbow Ming Yi was carrying. He notices it's a very specific type of weapon. Only a "Fighter" can use it. He starts thinking about all the other strange things she's done. A theory begins to form in his head.
To test his idea, he goes to Ming Yi's home. He makes her a deal. He'll give her Ming Xian's remains if she forges a personal weapon for him. Ming Yi agrees. She pulls out her rarest materials and gets to work. She knows her upcoming trip to Zhangwei Mountain is dangerous. She hopes this new sword will protect Ji Bozai. Her master, She Tianlin, watches her. He sighs about how he ended up with such a foolish, selfless apprentice.
The Kiss
Ming Yi brings the new sword, named "Nirvana," to Ji Bozai at the Sea of No Return. He deliberately insults her work. He calls the sword ordinary. This makes her angry. She immediately demonstrates the sword's true power.
That's all the proof he needs. Ji Bozai finally knows her real identity. He pulls her into his arms and kisses her. It's intense. He then asks her if Ming Xian is the only thing standing between them. Ming Yi tells him that even without Ming Xian, their problems are much bigger than one person or one issue. Then she turns and leaves.
New Plans and Old Secrets
The Nirvana sword is now in Ji Bozai's hands. It seems to resonate with him perfectly. Bu Xiu returns with new information. He investigated Mu Qibai's dealings in the Heaven of Parting Sorrow. He found an old contact of Sun Liao's. From this person, he learned that the transaction list wasn't on a jade slip. It was recorded in a special "Recording Mirror." The broken piece they found earlier was likely a fragment of this mirror.
The Real Target
She Tianlin is still trying to decipher the first half of the medical text. It's no use. The book is enchanted. He needs the second half to read the whole thing.
Ming Yi gets ready to leave for Zhangwei Mountain. Situ Ling finds out about her plan. He comes up with his own scheme. He plans to lure Ji Bozai to Zhangwei Mountain as well. His secret goal is to create a diversion. This will help Ming Yi sneak into the Bo family's ancestral home to get the "Fleeting Dream."
