Episode Summary
In episode 25, Xu Yan navigates a series of business crises, from opportunistic partners to a canceled major order. With Shen Haoming's help in finance and public relations, she manages to turn the situation around. Her shop's competition eligibility is restored, and she finds a powerful theme for her fashion show. The episode concludes with her successfully competing and then deliberately making a very jealous Shen Haoming even angrier.

Love's Ambition: Episode 25 Recap and Spoilers
I love a good business showdown. This episode kicks off with one right in Xu Yan’s shop, Yan Yi Fang. A group of her business partners are there making a scene. They act like they had no idea about the quality of her first batch of clothes. It’s a total lie. They knew exactly what they were getting into. Xu Yan sees right through them. She knows they’re just trying to kick her while she’s down.
She calls their bluff. She tells them if they want out, they can settle their accounts and leave.
The Tables Turn
Just then, Bajinlai's wife walks in. You know, the wife of that super important client. The second these partners see someone famous, their whole attitude changes. Suddenly, they are polite and humble. The aggressive act is completely gone. It’s amazing what a little bit of influence can do.
Then Shen Haoming shows up. He sits down to talk with the partners. Once they realize he’s connected to the shop, they practically trip over themselves to say they want to keep working together. It's pathetic, but it solves the immediate problem.
Bajinlai's wife asks Xu Yan if she’s having trouble. Xu Yan plays it cool. She says she can handle it herself. I respect that. The wife believes her, tries on some clothes, and leaves happy. She’s confident Xu Yan will pull through.
A New Plan and a New Hire
Shen Haoming offers to invest his own money to fund the next clothing line. This is a big deal. Inside her own team, though, there are still doubts. Qiao Lin and the others saw the new video they shot. The video mixes traditional Chinese style with modern fashion. They think it looks great, but they’re scared customers won’t actually buy the clothes. Xu Yan isn’t worried. She believes in their work and the craftsmanship they put into every piece.
Then we get a look at Lin Tao. The guy is a genius with numbers. He glances at the books and immediately finds financial problems. Xu Yan wants to hire him on the spot. She worries this will be awkward for her sister, Qiao Lin, so she asks her first. Qiao Lin is surprisingly fine with it. She even tells Lin Tao he should stay. So, Xu Yan officially offers him a job.
One Step Forward, Two Steps Back
Things were looking up. Of course, it couldn't last. A huge partner suddenly cancels their order. This is a massive blow. Xu Yan and her team try to go talk to the person in charge. The person won't even meet with them. Xu Yan knows what this means. If they can't fix this, the media will have a field day. It could destroy Yan Yi Fang's reputation.
Shen Haoming decides to fight back with some good PR. He goes on Sun Siwei's talk show to promote Yan Yi Fang. He frames the business as something truly positive. He talks about how it helps rural women find work in their hometowns. He says it helps keep families together. It's a smart angle. Xu Yan watches the interview and is genuinely touched. He definitely scored some points with her.
With this good press, they feel like they have the upper hand. Xu Yan decides it’s time to go on the offensive. They use the internet to push back against whoever is trying to sabotage them. Soon after, we see Steve getting stressed out. He’s seeing negative comments about himself online. And just like that, Yan Yi Fang’s eligibility for the big competition is restored.
Getting Ready for the Big Show
The good news keeps coming. Bajinlai goes to see Shen Haoming. He says he wants to partner with Shen Haoming's company, Jinda. He was impressed by Xu Yan's grit and determination.
We also get a nice little moment between Lin Tao and Yu Yiming. I thought they were going to fight. Instead, they shake hands and make peace. Lin Tao also officially gives up on Qiao Lin. He just wants her to be happy. It’s a mature move.
Now, all focus is on the competition. Xu Yan is working nonstop. She’s designing the clothes and planning the runway show's music and timing. But something feels off. She feels the show is missing a core idea that will connect with people. She wants to tell a story.
Shen Haoming comes by. He gives her a little advice. It’s all she needs. A lightbulb goes off in her head. She knows what the show needs to be about. The theme is inheritance and nurturing.
The episode ends after the competition. Yan Yi Fang does very well. Xu Yan wants to thank Shen Haoming, but she decides to tease him first. She makes a big show of thanking Jiang Liang. She even gets a little too close to him, just for effect. Shen Haoming was already annoyed he didn't get a public thank you. But seeing her with Jiang Liang makes him seriously jealous. The look on his face is pure fury.
