Episode Summary
The Cheetah team accidentally cleans the wrong area, annoying Ling Zhengrong. Chen Hansheng bonds with Captain He's son, Ziqing, after discovering he was bullied. To get even, Chen, Ling, Qiu Tian, and others challenge the bullies to a badminton match and win, which earns them a group punishment from the Chief of Staff. The episode concludes with a failed dinner party at Ling's house and a new joint security mission for Ling and Qiu Tian.

A Clean-Up Goes Sideways
The episode kicks off with some base housekeeping. The Chief of Staff tells Qiu Tian to invite Captain He Jialiang's family to the upcoming Army Day party. He knows He Jialiang is having a tough time at home. But the captain never asks for help or complains. The Chief wants to do something nice for him.
Then, he orders Qiu Tian and Ling Zhengrong to organize a big clean-up around the base. This is where things get a little funny. There's a mix-up with the assigned areas. The Cheetah team ends up cleaning a section meant for the support unit. They basically do someone else's job for them.
Qiu Tian figures it out pretty quickly. She doesn't expose the mistake, though. Instead, she waits until they're almost done. Then she sends her own people over with some refreshing green bean soup. When Ling Zhengrong finds out they did all that work for nothing, he's completely speechless. You can just feel his irritation.
A Father's Absence
The focus shifts to some more personal stories. Chen Hansheng hits the gym late at night. He runs into the old-school Cheetah members. They're all there, and they decide to give him some private lessons. Each one shows him a special skill they've mastered.
We also get a look at He Jialiang's home life. He's so busy with the unit that he barely sees his family. His son, He Ziqing, got bullied. He comes home but won't even tell his mom the truth about it. She wants to go talk to his coach. The boy refuses. He says he doesn't want his mom to solve all his problems. He has a dad, and he wants to handle this himself. It's a tough scene.
Chen Hansheng Steps In
Later, He Ziqing and his mom visit the base. They stop by the Repair Squad. Chen Hansheng happens to be there visiting his old friends. He notices the boy is wearing a face mask. The mom looks uncomfortable. She claims he just has a cold.
He Ziqing loves vehicles. Chen Hansheng sees an opportunity to connect. He offers to take the kid for a drive. They become fast friends. During the ride, Chen convinces him to take off the mask. He sees the boy's face is bruised and scraped up.
This hits Chen Hansheng hard. He knows exactly what it feels like to grow up without a strong father figure. He understands the loneliness and the bullying that can come with it.
We learn what really happened. He Ziqing beat a classmate at badminton. The classmate got mad and brought his parents for a rematch. He Ziqing and another kid had to play against two adults. They never stood a chance. They ended up colliding by accident, which is how He Ziqing got hurt.
The Badminton Showdown
Chen Hansheng can't just let this go. He decides to give the bullies a taste of their own medicine. He gets Lei Peng and some of the other guys on board.
First, he tries to do it by the book. He asks Qiu Tian for permission. She says no. She's worried Chen will be too impulsive. She goes to Ling Zhengrong about it. Ling thinks Chen is smart enough not to do anything too reckless, especially since he just joined Cheetah.
But in the end, everyone shows up. It's not just Chen Hansheng and his crew. Qiu Tian, Ling Zhengrong, and Zhang Lan are all there for the big badminton showdown. They completely dominate the bullies. They help He Ziqing get his confidence back.
The kids who bullied him feel bad. They broke his racket, so they give him a brand new one. They even become friends and start walking to school together. The kids are also super impressed with the soldiers' skills. They ask if they can get lessons sometime.
Punishment in the Rain
This little adventure doesn't go unnoticed. The Chief of Staff punishes Chen Hansheng and everyone else involved. They have to stand outside in the pouring rain. Their task is to hold washbasins and wait for them to fill up with rainwater.
Ling Zhengrong, Qiu Tian, and Zhang Lan join them without being told. They were part of it, so they'll take the punishment together. Then, the Chief of Staff himself comes out holding a washbasin. He says that as their leader, he failed to guide them properly. So he accepts the punishment too.
A Dinner Party and a New Mission
After the rain stops, Ling Zhengrong invites the crew to his place for dinner. He wants to show off his cooking skills. The problem is, he doesn't have any. He tries to follow a video tutorial but just makes a mess.
His solution is to order takeout. He puts all the food on plates and tries to pass it off as his own cooking. Chen Hansheng isn't fooled. He goes into the kitchen and finds the takeout containers. Everyone has a good laugh. They knew Ling couldn't cook, so they all brought food with them anyway.
The episode ends with a new assignment. Ling Zhengrong and Qiu Tian are tasked with leading the security detail for an upcoming international basketball tournament.
