Episode Summary
Yu Yu sparks a misunderstanding by taking photos of a sick Fei Wenli, causing Gu Yejia to date Ximen out of jealousy. The truth brings them back together, but Yu Yu lands in the hospital after sniffing a dirty sock. Lin Sa rejects a big job offer to stay with his girlfriend, while Shen Wu plans to start his own studio.

The Photo Scandal
Yu Yu is feeling pretty good about himself. He decides to take some photos, and his work buddies swarm him. He loves the attention. But things get messy when Fei Wenli asks him for a personal photoshoot. Yu Yu doesn't think twice. He agrees. They head down to the river and snap some pictures.
It looks intimate. Too intimate. Shen Wu and Wang Xiaoxiao spot them together. Wang Xiaoxiao immediately jumps to conclusions. She thinks Fei Wenli has status and matches Yu Yu perfectly. She makes a terrible call. She tells Shen Wu to send those photos straight to Gu Yejia.
Jealousy and Bad Art
Gu Yejia is already talking about Fei Wenli with Xia Xiaoman. Xia warns her that Fei is manipulative and could steal Yu Yu away. Then the photos hit the group chat. The messages go crazy. People are already joking about chipping in for wedding gifts.
Gu Yejia sees the pictures. She also sees Yu Yu acting totally chill in the studio. This makes her furious. Out of spite, she accepts an invitation from Ximen. He wants to take her to a traditional art exhibition. Gu Yejia doesn't know anything about art. She doesn't care. She goes anyway just to prove a point.
The Truth Comes Out
Manager Lin Sa has his own problems. A headhunter from Beijing offers him a high-paying job. He’s conflicted. But he puts that aside because nobody can find Yu Yu. He worries Yu Yu is harassing Elder Sun or doing something drastic.
The group rushes to the location Elder Sun mentioned. They are ready for a disaster. Instead, they find a surprise. Yu Yu didn't design a love nest. He designed a room specifically for Fei Wenli because she is sick. She needs surgery and can't stand up. She is depressed, and Yu Yu is just trying to comfort her and fulfill an old promise.
Clearing the Air
Yu Yu tracks down Gu Yejia. He explains everything. He only helped Fei Wenli because of her condition. He tries to say more, but he chokes up. Gu Yejia pushes him to speak. Finally, Yu Yu pulls out a photo he took of Gu Yejia. He tells her to stay away from Ximen. He calls the guy unreliable. Since Yu Yu finally showed some backbone, Gu Yejia admits the truth. She never liked Ximen anyway.
The Sock Incident
Things take a stupid turn. A dog named Dao Ge runs into Yu Yu’s room and steals a sock. Yu Yu chases him and takes a sniff of the sock. Bad idea. He gets a respiratory infection immediately. He ends up in the hospital. Shen Wu calls him "crispy" because he's so fragile. Gu Yejia shows no mercy and mocks him relentlessly.
Career Moves
Shen Wu is feeling confident. His recent designs got good feedback. He wants to open his own studio. He tries to joke with Gu Yejia about getting inspiration from her, but she shuts him down.
Lin Sa makes his choice. He asks Wang Xiaoxiao if she would move for a Fortune 500 company. She says she wants to be with him but prefers their current city. That’s all Lin Sa needs to hear. He rejects the high salary to stay put. Wang Xiaoxiao is thrilled and plans to cook him a feast.
Yu Yu gives Shen Wu a reality check. He pays him but warns him about using AI for designs. He says AI is just a tool and the real image needs to be in your head. He threatens to fire him if he relies on it again. Shen Wu takes the money and buys a ring for his girlfriend. He feels the pressure of turning thirty. He wants to be his own boss. Yu Yu sees headhunters circling, but he ignores them. He is staying right where he is.
