Episode Summary
Shen Wu avoids telling his girlfriend his problems, while Yu Yu's anger over a changed design leads to a hospital standoff. The group breaks into Yu Yu's room after he faints, revealing his stark living space. Yu Yu then causes chaos by bringing a funeral wreath to a wedding and wearing a bizarre outfit to a business meeting. His path crosses with Gu Yejia's father, who mistakes him for her boyfriend. The episode ends with Yu Yu calling Gu Yejia by an intimate nickname, suggesting a shift in their relationship.

Shen Wu Vents to the Wrong People
The episode kicks off with Shen Wu unloading all his stress. He's talking to Xia Xiaoman and Gu Yejia. Xia Xiaoman is confused. She asks him why he isn't talking to his girlfriend about this stuff. Shen Wu says he doesn't want to burden her with his problems. Gu Yejia gets it. She thinks that's what friends are for.
Just then, Ouyang walks into the bar. Shen Wu and Ouyang give each other a polite nod. Gu Yejia seems a little interested in Ouyang. Shen Wu immediately shuts that down. He tells her she can get with anyone butOuyang. He says Yu Yu would never be okay with it.
Yu Yu's Hospital Rebellion
Speaking of Yu Yu, he is absolutely furious. Someone changed his design, and he wants out of the hospital now. Gu Yejia is his doctor, but Yu Yu isn't listening to a word she says. Gu Yejia just doesn't understand why a design change is such a massive deal.
Lin Sa stops by to see Yu Yu. She knows he's mad at her. She just leaves some food, says the client is still thinking about the design, and then leaves. After she's gone, Yu Yu starts to feel a little bad. He decides he should probably apologize to Shen Wu. He finds Wang Xiaoxiao and gives a sort of indirect apology for Shen Wu. Shen Wu happens to be at his girlfriend's place when he hears about it. He's stunned that his boss actually apologized. He jokes that he can die happy now.
The Great Wall Smash
Gu Yejia has Yu Yu's USB drive. She calls him and uses it as bait. She says she'll give it back if he lets her in his room. Yu Yu is clever, though. He manages to snatch the drive and slam the door in her face.
Shen Wu shows up, and the three of them—Shen Wu, Xia Xiaoman, and Gu Yejia—try to figure out a plan. Suddenly, they realize it's completely silent inside Yu Yu's room. They start to worry something is wrong. Shen Wu literally smashes a hole in the wall between their apartments. They look through and see Yu Yu passed out on the floor. They all panic and climb into his room to help. Yu Yu wakes up and thinks they are making a huge fuss over nothing.
A Look Inside Yu Yu's World
Gu Yejia insists on checking him over. She tells him her job as a doctor is to take care of her patients. Later, Shen Wu and Xia Xiaoman ask her what his room was like. They're curious why he's so secretive about it. Gu Yejia thinks back. She says there was nothing special in there. It was just really plain and cold.
Gu Yejia tries to cook for Yu Yu to be nice. He just responds with sarcastic and ungrateful comments. She gets frustrated and basically calls him an ungrateful jerk.
Yu Yu's Public Meltdowns
This is where things get wild. Yu Yu shows up to a wedding in a nice suit. But he's carrying a funeral wreath. The bride sees it and loses her mind. A massive fight breaks out between the two families. Later, Yu Yu confronts his mother about it. He insists she told him to bring it, but she just says he must have misheard her. He's left completely frustrated.
Next, Lin Sa calls him into work for a meeting. Yu Yu shows up wearing a bright red outfit. The client is clearly uncomfortable with his choice of attire. After the meeting, he finally goes to a mall and buys a proper suit. He changes out of the red clothes and then heads to the hospital to see Gu Yejia.
An Awkward Family Encounter
At the hospital, Gu Yejia tells him to calm down and take his temperature. While he's sitting in the lobby, he notices the heat is cranked way up. He's about to complain to an old man sitting nearby. But then Gu Yejia walks over, pulls the old man away, and calls him "Dad." The dad immediately assumes Yu Yu is his daughter's boyfriend.
Gu Yejia gets home and finds her dad is still there. Her parents are pressuring her about blind dates again. She's so stressed that she runs over to Xia Xiaoman's place to hide. At the same time, Yu Yu is meeting a friend and sees the same old man—Gu Yejia's dad—is there too. He feels like this guy is following him everywhere.
Gu Yejia complains to Xia Xiaoman about her parents. She says their taste in men is terrible and she doesn't like anyone they pick. Xia Xiaoman agrees that blind dates can be weird. She even mentions her own strange neighbor, who is, of course, Yu Yu.
The episode ends with Yu Yu calling Gu Yejia. She gets all dressed up just to meet him. When they see each other, he greets her with a very familiar nickname, "Jiajia."
