Episode Summary
Nie Jiuluo and Yu Rong open the Golden Man Gate, triggering a trap set by Lin Xirou. Xiao Gezhi fails to rescue Jiang Baichuan with a bomb threat. Inside the caves, the hunters face a mutated white-haired monster known as a Di Ba. Lin Xirou summons a massive swarm of Earth Owls to wipe out the heroes.

Cracking the Golden Man Gate
Nie Jiuluo and Yan Tuo don't waste time. They head straight into the dark cave at the bottom of the cliff. Their sharp eyes spot the Golden Man Gate immediately. The door bears the crests of the Whip and Blade families. Stone statues of the Dog family stand guard like sentinels.
Opening this thing takes teamwork. Nie Jiuluo uses her Blade skills. Yu Rong steps up with her Whip techniques. They sync their movements perfectly. The heavy gate grinds open. A massive boom echoes through the cavern. The mountain shakes violently. Suddenly, a secret door halfway up the mountain slides open. It invites them deeper inside.
A Suicide Mission
Xiao Gezhi is stuck on surveillance duty outside the Roushan mine. He finally catches a break. He spots Lin Xirou. She has her whole crew with her. They are also dragging a hostage, Jiang Baichuan.
Xiao Gezhi has no time to call for backup. He makes a desperate move. He grabs a bomb and confronts them. He threatens to blow himself up if they don't release Jiang. But the Earth Owls are too fast. Lin Xirou and her team dodge the blast and vanish. The explosion rocks the area. Xiao Gezhi is the only one of his squad who walks away alive.
The Trap is Sprung
Xing Shen leads a team of Nanshan hunters into the gate. They reach a large, open space. They look up and freeze. Jiang Baichuan and several others are hanging in the air.
It is a trap. Lin Xirou used a secret tunnel to beat them there. She ambushes Xing Shen’s group. Her people attack from the shadows. The hunters are surrounded. Chaos takes over.
The White-Haired Monster
Elsewhere in the tunnels, Nie Jiuluo notices slime on the walls. The smell of Earth Owls is thick in the air. A captive Owl breaks loose and runs. Then a new threat drops from the ceiling.
It is a white-haired woman. She looks half-human, half-monster. She attacks Nie Jiuluo aggressively. Surprisingly, she uses Whip family martial arts moves. She drags hunters into the darkness. Nie Jiuluo and Yan Tuo chase her down.
They find a wounded Feng Mi. She drops a bombshell. That white-haired monster is a mutated Nanshan hunter. She has become a Di Ba. She is killing everything in her path. Even the Earth Owls can't stop her.
The Nest and the Swarm
Yu Rong and Que Cha wander into the worst possible spot. They find the Earth Owl nest. It is dark and terrifying. They spot Jiang Baichuan there. He looks panicked. He signals them to get out immediately.
The scattered Nanshan hunters finally regroup at the center of the cave. They find Jiang Baichuan. He is full of guilt. He explains the situation. He tried to save his people before. Now those former Gold Mountain clan members are white-haired monsters. They are dangerous. He begs everyone to run.
Lin Xirou makes her move. She starts a dark ritual to summon the Earth Owls. The atmosphere gets heavy. Jiang Baichuan screams in pain. Then the swarm arrives. Countless Earth Owls climb the chains like insects. They scream and attack. The hunters have nowhere to run. The fight for survival begins.
