Episode Summary
Jin Chao wins a major race against Liang Yanfeng using a risky headlight trick. He drives all night to return to Jiang Mu. They share domestic moments shopping and cooking, though Jin Chao does the actual work. The episode ends with a drunk Jiang Mu kissing Jin Chao after a dinner with friends.

Morning Chaos and Confrontations
He Zhang storms into the repair shop. He is looking for a fight. He hates seeing Wan Qing cry over Jin Chao. Jin Chao shuts him down immediately. He warns He Zhang to stop acting like a child. Jin Chao has people to protect now. He isn't playing games.
Jiang Mu wakes up and spots Jin Chao in the house. She panics. She sprints back to her room for some emergency image management. She throws on a full face of makeup. She changes clothes. She walks back out like a runway model. She sits down to eat with extreme elegance. She acts very reserved. Jin Chao notices the change. He secretly enjoys it.
Smoke Breaks and Car Parts
Jin Chao sits on the stairs to smoke. Jiang Mu gets curious. She wants to try it. Jin Chao snatches the cigarette away. She argues that girls who like cars usually smoke. He tells her she is different.
Lin Sui sends over some imported parts. Jin Chao refuses the package. He tries to build his own parts instead. He tests them out. They fail. He goes to Jin Qiang for advice. Jin Qiang gives him a new perspective. It clicks for Jin Chao.
Later, Jin Chao delivers food to Lin Sui. He says thanks for the thought, but he doesn't need the parts. Lin Sui writes a review for the restaurant. He praises the food. He also writes that the delivery guy is incredibly handsome. Jin Chao makes him delete it. Lin Sui demands a plate of fried rice as payment. Jin Chao agrees to cook for him.
Lights Out on the Track
Jiang Mu hasn't seen Jin Chao in two days. She worries he is doing something dangerous again. She tries to calm herself down.
Jin Chao is on the track. He drives aggressively. He passes car after car. Only Liang Yanfeng is left in front of him. Liang defends his position well. Passing him is tough. Lin Sui watches from the sidelines. He trusts Jin Chao has a plan.
Jin Chao kills his headlights. This reduces the wind resistance. He sprints forward in the dark. He hits the curve. He suddenly flashes his lights. It blinds Liang for a split second. Liang loses his rhythm. Jin Chao flies past him. He takes first place.
The Long Drive Home
Lin Sui wants to throw a celebration. Jin Chao checks his phone. He sees a message from Jiang Mu. He skips the party. He drives all night from Qing City back to Man City.
He waits downstairs the next morning. He wants to drive Jiang Mu to school. She is pouty. She complains that he is always busy. She puffs out her cheeks. They get to the school gate. She refuses to go in. She just stares at him. Jin Chao pats her head. He promises to cook her a good meal after school. She finally smiles and goes inside.
Kitchen Disasters
They go to the market together. Jin Chao plans to cook. Jiang Mu spots someone Jin Chao knows. He denies knowing them. He buys two boxes of strawberries. Jiang Mu thinks they are too expensive. He claims he wants to eat them. We all know they are for her.
Back home, Jiang Mu tries to follow an online recipe. She has no idea what she is doing. The oil splatters. She jumps back in fear. Jin Chao steps in. He tells her to just help him on the side.
The Big Lie
San Lai and the crew dig into the food. They say it is delicious. Jin Chao lies. He says Jiang Mu cooked it all. San Lai asks for the recipe for the sauce. Jiang Mu panics. She says she used white liquor. It makes zero sense. Everyone knows she is lying. They don't say a word. They just eat.
They drink some wine. Jiang Mu gets flushed. Jin Chao steps away to take a call. She follows him. She finds him on the phone. She stands on her tiptoes. She kisses him.
