Episode Summary
Jin Chao and Jiang Mu finally confess their feelings and share their first kisses. Jin Chao gives her his mother's necklace as a sign of commitment. He later surprises her with a romantic gesture involving balloons to recreate a childhood dream.

The Dam Breaks
Jiang Mu puts Jin Chao on the spot about her college applications. He tries to dodge the question. He thinks she should ask Jiang Yinhan instead. Jiang Mu changes tactics. She asks if he would miss her if she left. Jin Chao stays silent. He gives no answer. So Jiang Mu takes matters into her own hands. She kisses him.
Jin Chao tries to act cool. He looks calm on the outside. Inside, his mind is racing. He asks Jiang Mu if she is losing her mind. She doesn't answer with words. She kisses him again. Jin Chao finally stops fighting it. He kisses her back. He admits he is losing his mind too. He pulls her in close. They forget about everything else.
Interruptions and Secrets
San Lai and the guys ruin the moment with their shouting. The couple breaks apart. They are both flushed red. They try to calm down. San Lai invites them on a hiking trip. They agree just to act normal. Jin Chao leans back in his chair. Jiang Mu secretly scratches the back of his hand with her pinky.
Nana asks about the reason for the party. Jin Fengzi has a big mouth. He spills the beans immediately. He reveals Jin Chao ranked top three in the league. The secret is out. Jin Chao stops hiding his affection. He wraps his large hand around Jiang Mu’s hand. She blushes harder. She holds on tight.
The Necklace
Jin Chao walks Jiang Mu downstairs. He squats down in front of her. He gives her a piggyback ride to the door. They hug reluctantly. They do not want to let go. Later, he carries her to bed. She wakes up briefly. She touches his lips and smiles before falling back asleep.
The next day is a waiting game. Jiang Mu sleeps until the afternoon. She texts Jin Chao. He is busy and tells her to wait at the garage. She waits until nightfall. He finally returns. They sit on the couch in silence. He asks if she regrets what happened. She says no. She just feels it was too hasty. She didn't feel enough.
Jin Chao laughs at that. He takes her to his room. He brings out a pendant his mother left him. He gets serious. He tells her he has never been serious about anyone before. But he is serious now. He warns her there are no take-backs. Jiang Mu agrees. He puts the necklace on her.
Sweet and Bitter
Jiang Mu wants to stay the night. Jin Chao makes her coffee. It tastes sweet. He tells her not all coffee has to be bitter. He promises he won't let her suffer. Jiang Mu gets curious. She tastes his cup. It is incredibly bitter. She frowns. Jin Chao asks how she wants to taste it. He kisses her. He pushes her onto the bed. Things heat up again.
The Cloud House
They separate, but Jiang Mu misses him instantly. She texts him. Jin Chao shows up at her house right away. He hides behind a pillar so Jin Qiang doesn't see him. Jin Qiang is confused about why his son is home. Jin Chao lies about redeeming points for a card game. His dad believes him and leaves.
Jin Chao tells Jiang Mu his plans. He intends to sell the garage soon. He admits he missed her too. Jiang Mu drops a grape on the floor on purpose. Jin Chao squats to pick it up. She uses the chance to steal a kiss.
He leaves after fixing the points for his dad. He tells Jiang Mu to look from the balcony. He opens his car trunk. Colorful balloons fly up into the sky. It looks like the "cloud house" trip she wanted as a child. He made her old wish come true.
