Episode Summary
Zhuang Xu gets jealous of Lin Yusen at a wedding and confronts Nie Xiguang, leading her to lie about her relationship status. Lin Yusen confesses his love to Xiguang, but she admits she is not ready to move on. Meanwhile, Zhuang Xu ends his friendship with Ye Rong after exposing her manipulative behavior. Xiguang retreats to her family home in Wuxi to process everything.

The Wedding Toast Disaster
The reception gets awkward fast. Zhuang Xu spills wine right on Nie Xiguang's sleeve during the toast. Lin Yusen reacts instantly. He pulls out tissues and wipes it off for her. Zhuang Xu watches this happen. He gets jealous immediately. He punishes himself by drinking three cups of wine. Ye Rong stands there helplessly. She cannot stop him. Zhuang Xu stays cold. He says he never promised her anything. Ye Rong brings up their childhood bond. She claims family trouble made her hide her feelings. Zhuang Xu shuts it down. He knows the truth. She used him to hurt Xiguang. He knows she spread rumors that Xiguang bought his affection with a loan. He tells her they are done. He walks away for good.
