Episode Summary
Nie Xiguang and Lin Yusen share a sweet moment feeding a reindeer and lighting fireworks. The next day, Yusen wins a ski race against Jiang Rui, while Chris discovers Xiguang's new relationship status. Xiguang gets savvy business advice from her mother regarding her solar project and learns why her father's company hesitated to invest. The episode ends with Zhuang Xu learning that Xiguang is at the resort with Yusen.

Late Night Reindeer Games
Nie Xiguang is back in her room processing everything she just learned. Jiang Ping told her about Lin Yusen’s family history. It sounds rough. She feels a genuine pang of sympathy for him. He grew up in a fractured home but still turned out sunny and resilient. She doesn't know how to comfort him directly. She decides to play the bratty girlfriend card instead. She texts him and feigns anger. She claims he broke the rules by introducing family.
Yusen texts back immediately. He points out they never made a rule against that. Xiguang realizes she is being unreasonable. She decides to lean into it. She demands a penalty. He has to come out and feed the deer with her.
They head outside near the hotel. A handler is walking a reindeer by. They stop him and feed the animal a few snacks. It is late so they can't feed it much. Xiguang pulls out some fireworks. They light them up and watch the sparks. There is one left. She tells Yusen to light it. He refuses. He pockets it as a souvenir.
Jiang Rui texts Xiguang. He notices some fireworks are missing. He also challenges Yusen to a high-level ski race. Yusen walks Xiguang back to her building. He hands her a gift before he leaves. It is a little snowman he made. It looks just like her skiing.
Slope Politics
The next morning starts early. Jiang Ping sees the "kids" have already left the hotel. Jiang Yun mentions they went to the ski resort. Xiguang, Yusen, and Jiang Rui are at the top of the run. The view is great. Xiguang snaps some photos.
Jiang Rui tries to make things interesting. He proposes a bet. If Yusen loses the race, he has to stop pursuing Xiguang. Yusen shuts that down immediately. He refuses the terms. Rui changes the subject to gear. He likes Yusen’s snowboard. Yusen explains it is a custom job from Switzerland. He offers to get one for Rui. Rui declines. He says he can't accept gifts until Yusen and Xiguang are officially dating. He is terrified Xiguang will beat him up otherwise.
Chris is lurking nearby. She overhears the whole conversation. She realizes Xiguang broke up with Zhuang Xu. She also clocks that Yusen is now the one chasing her.
The race ends. Yusen wins by a narrow margin. Xiguang sees they are hyped up. She suggests they stay on the advanced slopes. She plans to go practice on the beginner run. Yusen won't hear of it. He insists on sticking with her. He offers to guide her on the intermediate slope. Rui pulls Xiguang aside. He gives her some unsolicited dating advice. He tells her not to be so transparent. She needs to use some tactics.
Mom's Business Strategy
The moms are having their own summit. Jiang Yun invites Sheng Weiai for tea. Weiai is happy. She sees how serious Yusen is about Xiguang. Jiang Yun approves too. She likes Yusen’s character. She believes in free love. She promises not to interfere. Weiai agrees. She says staying out of it is the best way to support them.
Back in the room that night, the vibe shifts to business. Xiguang grills her mom about the photovoltaic garden project. Yusen is raising funds. Xiguang still wants to cut costs. Jiang Yun is impressed. She sees Xiguang is looking at the big picture. She offers a strategy. Xiguang should outsource the internal space for a convenience store. That brings in cash flow early. She also suggests using the same contractor from the Phase 2 factory expansion. They can negotiate a lower price but still guarantee the builder a profit.
Xiguang soaks this up. Then she asks the awkward question. Why has Yuancheng delayed the investment? It makes things weird at work. Jiang Yun explains the history. Her dad, Nie Chengyuan, was hesitant about solar initially. Then the market got hot. He got interested. Then the market crashed. Wanyang Solar took a hit. Her dad got cold feet again. Business is about profit. Jiang Yun tells her daughter to keep a level head.
The Ex Factors
It is the last day of vacation. Jiang Rui books Yusen for an early session. He wants to go hard before they leave. Zhuang Xu is also on the mountain with his colleagues. They are on the intermediate slope. Justin drops the bomb. He tells Zhuang Xu he just saw Xiguang and Yusen together.
