Episode Summary
Zhuang Xu misses a chance to see Xiguang while hanging out with Ye Rong. Xiguang feels guilty after Lin Yusen gets hit by a motorcycle, so she acts as his courier. She learns he was a surgeon who lost his career due to an accident. Lin tries to jog her memory about their past, but when she doesn't remember, he shuts her out. Lin returns to work and ignores her. Later, Xiguang falls from a balcony, and Lin catches her.

Zhuang Xu is the definition of a workaholic. He is stuck at the office late working on the Shuangyuan report. A colleague tries to drag him out for drinks. Zhuang Xu isn't interested. Then his phone buzzes. It’s Ye Rong. She brought him stuff from home.
He shuts his laptop instantly. He runs downstairs. His colleague calls him out for ditching his bros for a girl. I can’t blame him.

Then Lin gets cryptic. He mentions his second car accident. He says getting hurt is worth it if it makes her remember something. Xiguang has no clue what he is talking about. Lin sees her confusion. His mood flips. He tells her to leave the key at the door. He doesn't want her coming back.
The Audit and the Fall
