Plot Synopsis
In the quiet coastal town of Wucheng, a long-buried secret is about to unravel.
This 24-episode suspense thriller begins when two bizarre murders shatter thepeaceful lives of single mother Li Xiulan (Zhang Lu) and her daughter, Li Yan (Xu Mengjie). When thepolice investigation begins, Li Xiulan is quickly identified as theprimary suspect. Eyewitnesses claim to have seen her commit the act, and forensic evidence found at the scene seems to seal her fate.
As detective Qin Yang (Lan Haimeng) digs deeper, the case grows more complex, with every cluepointing toward a heinous crime committed years ago. The investigation takes a critical tuas Li Yan, who has suffered from amnesia since a traumatic accident ten yearsprior, begins to experience haunting nightmares. Fragments of her lost memory resurface, leading her to believe that her true identity and the decade-old incident are the keys to solving the current mystery.
Theplot thickens with the sudden arrival of Li Yan's enigmatic older sister, Li Meng (Sun Meilin).
