Lian Cuihua presents Qiao Mi with a life-altering proposition: to leave her current life behind and wander the world with her. Though hesitant about abandoning her friends, family, and career, Qiao Mi is swept up in the moment and impulsively agrees to leave for Yunnan the very next day.

However, a heartfelt conversation with Wen Xiaoyao casts doubt on her decision. Wen Xiaoyao shares that her late partner, Zhou Tong, had the opposite dream—to end his nomadic lifestyle and settle down with her in Beijing. This revelation makes Qiao Mi reconsider what she truly wants.

The emotional climax arrives at the airport. After some last-minute, half-serious warnings from her father, Qiao Guanghui, Qiao Mi makes the difficult choice to stay. She shares a bittersweet farewell with a disappointed Lian Cuihua, asking her to reconnect after her travels are over. To comfort the heartbroken Qiao Mi, Wen Xiaoyao gives her a beautiful wind chime, cleverly pretending it's a parting gift from Lian Cuihua.

In a parallel storyline, Xu Tian's relationship with Shi Diandian deepens. He supports her through a job interview, and she playfully pranks him by pretending to dine-and-dash. After she lands the job, Xu Tian lovingly declares he will follow her wherever she decides to go. In a vulnerable moment, he reveals that he is an orphan and that she has become his only family.

Meanwhile, a significant breakthrough occurs at the dance studio. The lead dancer, Yang Yun, injures her back while struggling to perfect a routine for "Jin Se." When Wen Xiaoyao and Qiao Mi arrive, Yang Yun asks them to perform the dance together. Drawing on their deep friendship and shared emotional experiences, their performance is flawless, finally bringing Yang Yun's artistic vision to life. This solidifies Wen Xiaoyao as a strong contender for the lead role of Bai Suzhen.

Qiao Guanghui emerges as both a shrewd businessman and a deeply caring friend. He visits Song Guanwang, whose theater is struggling financially, and proposes a partnership: Qiao Guanghui will provide the capital, while the current manager, Xi, continues to run it. He also suggests converting the building's upper floors into a ballet training center where the recently retired Zhao Gang can teach.

In a particularly touching series of gestures, Qiao Guanghui helps Song Guanwang process the grief of losing his son, Zhou Tong. He suggests they create a map of all the places Zhou Tong visited and travel to them together. He also arranges for Xu Tian to go square dancing with Song Guanwang, fulfilling a simple wish Song Guanwang had for his son.

The episode closes as Wen Xiaoyao and Qiao Mi visit Zhou Tong's grave at Babaoshan. Afterwards, Qiao Mi opens the gift from Wen Xiaoyao and, finding the elegant wind chime, begins to dance with renewed joy, her spirits finally lifted.
