Plot Synopsis

In her highly anticipated television debut, Dou Jingtong, daughter of Chinese rockpioneer Dou Wei and Mandopopsuperstar Faye Wong, takes on the lead role in Her/她的生存之道(Her Way of Survival). She stars as Liu Yan, a down-on-her-luck boxer whose life has been a series of frustrations.

The story follows Liu Yan, a woman fueled by a raw, desperate determination to finally achieve a victory, just once. With the unwavering support andprotection of Lu Tianchi (played by Wang Chuanjun), she channels her fierce energy into two unlikely arenas:professional boxing and fine cuisine. Through sheer force of will, Liu Yan battles her way to the topin both fields, staging an incredible comeback and completely turning her life around.

Seen through Liu Yan’s eyes, the series artfully blends the many flavors of life with the rich, sensory world of food.
