Plot Synopsis

"The Long Way Back" made to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance, is a big deal. The script comes from Gao Mantang, and when he's involved, you know the story has a solid foundation.

So, what's it about? Toput it simply, it’s the story of an ordinary soldier from the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army. The timeline is long, stretching fourteen years from the September 18th Incident all the way to the end of the war.
