Wild Ambition Bloom: A Woman's Fight in a Man's World

This drama, "Wild Ambition Bloom," is about one thing: a woman with incredible grit who carves out apath for herself in the chaotic world of Republican China.

The story kicks off in 1916. Theprotagonist, Chu Shaohua (played by Rayza Alimjan), is forced to marry into the Chen family, owners of apharmacy, just to save her brother.She's a natural at business and quickly gets thepharmacy thriving.But good times don't last. Her husband and father-in-law die unexpectedly, and her useless brother-in-law squanders the entire family fortune.

She doesn't give up. Shaohua opens her own smallpharmacy to support the family.She tries to build a new life with her first love, Xia Chu (Mao Zijun), but her former in-laws refuse to let her go.The absolute worst moment comes when bandits raid their home, and she loses her only daughter in the chaos.At thatpoint, she has truly lost everything.

Heartbroken, Chu Shaohua leaves for Shanghai alone.In the big city, she starts over as a saleswoman in a department store and climbs the ladder withpure skill.Eventually, she meets Wen Zhiqiu (Tony Yang), a business genius, and they team upto build their own national enterprise.
