There is a massive pile of cash and gold. It is enough money to change their lives. The group doesn't think twice. They grab the loot and run.
Song Hao arrives at the house shortly after. He is too late. He misses the intruders and the money.
Meanwhile, Liu Tianye’s crew is panicking. They are sitting on a fortune. They want to cash in the gold bars immediately. Liu Tianye shuts that down. He knows Ma Jin will be hunting for this money. He acts completely different. He shakes Ji's hand and acts friendly. He pretends to bury the hatchet. Director Ji looks confused. He doesn't know what to make of this sudden change.
